This location is a constant let down compared to our original and favorite Bad Daddy’s experiences. We moved to northern Colorado from Littleton and found comfort in the bad daddy’s up here in the beginning. It has slowly but surely let us down every time. The entire staff feels very disjointed. From the male manager in the beanie, to female manager with the side of her head shaved tonight. Your servers seem very isolated. There is no team work amongst the staff. My family is super easy and understanding. I’m a bartender in the industry for 17 years and have found every single silver lining every time we visit, but tonight just solidified why our visits are fewer and farther between despite our kids love of the restaurant. Upon our arrival the host was sucked into her phone, took a good 10 seconds for her to notice us (it was 7:40 on a Friday night..) we asked politely for a booth and she said that might not be possible because the staff had been cut, she then quickly decided she could clean the dirty booth in the open section in our eye sight. While she cleaned it, two other parties waited in the pass between the outside and the host stand. My husband noticed the manger leaning into the well chit chatting with the bartender while the other guests stood confused. The host clearly frazzled and trying to hustle. We were sat and greeted with a server that we recognized as newer from our last visit. She got our drinks and appetizer order. My son ordered an apple juice which was 95% water and 5% apple juice… we didn’t ask for it watered down. He made the proud choice to order juice over soda and was very disappointed. Our wings (which naturally take 15-20 minutes to cook) arrived, there were no side plates presented to us, my husband and I have had the happen every time. We just take paper towels off the roll and use them as a place mat for our bones.. super frustrating. The person running the food should notice this step and assist the server or the server needs to be trained to deliver side plates with food. Our server came to check on our wings, they are great despite the brown celery. She clearly sees we are using paper towels as plates and says nothing. Mean while our bar drinks still haven’t arrived. My husband took our youngest to the bathroom and saw them sitting in the well on the way there and the way back, I make eye contact with the manger on duty and she completely ignores my cues and walks past us. I finally caught our server and asked for our drinks. She brought them over with no garnish or straws. My husband’s glass was dirty and had brown stuff floating in it. After 5 minutes of trying to make eye contact and catch the attention of an employee he gave up and went straight to the bar for a new drink. The bartender was swift in fixing his drink. Our food arrived with great timing on our servers part. But unfortunately I could tell my salad was one that was made and either sat before the rest of our food or was a miss-ring and waiting for a home. The croutons were soggy and the lettuce was warm and wilted. My husband asked for his side salad to be tossed and it came out dry. Again we tried to catch the manger. She definitely made eye contact with us but just kept on walking(definitely not doing table touches)My husband finished his half of his burger before our sever quality checked our food, and he had an opportunity to ask for his ranch, Not a big deal, but we definitely like our salads first. Our server was genuinely sweet, and seemed to care. On the way out the host( a different one at this point) was also enthralled in their phone. I was the one to say “goodnight and thank you” first. The hospitality industry is HARD, But so rewarding to the ones who care. That was not the case tonight. Hoping you guys can take pride...
Read moreI'm sad because a year ago I left a review saying "Great service and food." But here we are a year later and the entire experience was just overall exhausting. We went to bad daddy's last night and I want going to leave a review but here i am today still angry that $50 was literally wasted at this place. Here's a long review on why I'm leaving just 1 star review.
Before we go into how horribly messed up our food was and how my husband paid $17 for a $5 (at most) burger, to start we decided to get bad daddy's because my husband and I remembered how good the food was and how great the service was, we did a pick up order online because we wanted to have somewhat of a date night at home. We live 45 minutes away from the restaurant. After putting the order in my husband realized he had some questions about his food also he wanted to make sure we got some extra bad daddy's sauce so he called, the male manager he spoke to was very straightforward and explained things really well but then he just kinda left the conversation and my husband sat there holding the phone asking me "should I hang up?" "I'm confused laughs was the conversation over?" and then eventually the line just hung up. When we got to the restaurant to pick up our food he went in to pick it up he asked the lady who brought him our bag if there was extra sauce she very catty replied "no..." so he politely asked for some and she huffed away and got the 1 extra sauce. We've both worked in restaurants we were displeased with the attitude but shrugged it off, we don't know what happened in her day. We drive the 45 minutes to get home. We both ordered the BACON cheeseburger on steroids med well, my husband's was special he added a Buffalo patty and took off mayo and lettuce... easy right? Apparently not, he had absolutely no bacon, no tomato, and he had lettuce. My burger was right except I wasn't going to have blood in my mouth being I asked for med well I washed just a little pink... the entire experience was depressing, we spent over $50 on our order, so if course what do we no? We called the restaurant, you know what their fix was? They told us we could either drive 45 minutes back just for bacon not even to replace our food which would by the time we got there would be cold, and since that was not ideal to us the lady manager hooked with my husband and told him to steal some of my bacon (my order was right outside of the body burger) and then just returned our tip with no further help. She really didn't care about the order being wrong, she didn't care about the inconvenience, and she laughed at our expense. What did I expect? At least comp my husband's burger, he had no bacon on his BACON cheeseburger ON STEROIDS there was super to be a lot of bacon... there was none. Or offer to replace the order, we would have drive back and traded the food we had for a replacement or at least a replacement for his. Or offer a discount on our next visit. To show a sincere apology of some sort!! We both agreed we should have driven to Five Guys because they're messy but we would have gotten exactly...
Read moreWent in saying I wanted to place a "to go" order, got seated and after about 5 minutes they dropped a menu on the table and walked off. I might add that I am a senior, female, reasonably well dressed. I found what I wanted and put the menu down, waiting for my order to be taken...another long wait, no glass of water. Finally my order was taken and then a VERY long wait (they were semi-busy - still a lot of empty tables on a Wednesday, about 6 PM). Finally got my order and was told he would be back with the check....and another absurdly long wait. Finally got the check, and I handed over my credit card. Didn't take too long that time. My bill was just under $20 and I added a $5 tip. I will leave a $5 tip to someone at a Fast Food place (think 5 Guys, or any of the other such places) that is friendly, helpful and fast. I have been known to frequently give 35 to 40% tips if I feel my waitperson is doing a reasonably good job (even 50% if they do an outstanding job), this in in a regular restaurant. I am sure the person waiting on me thought my 20+% tip was good for no more than he had to do. In reality, he got no more than I would give someone at a drive up window. I should have just rounded it up to $20 and left it at that!! He didn't even try to be friendly.
As for the food. I have no reason to go back!! My sandwich was put in a container that was twice the size it needed to be, and slid into the bag side ways. The sandwich was no longer in one piece and very messy to try to put back together to eat. The sandwich and fries were cold by the time I got home (about 15 minutes), mainly because they sat so long before I could pay my bill and leave. I will...
