My wife and I went to the small shop they had before several times and loved it every time.
We finally had the opportunity to visit the new location and were completely disappointed.
We arrived at open— food should be piping hot, fresh as can be, or so we thought.
We ordered the loaded Philly fries and the chicken n waffle combo.
The meat on the fries was actually cold to the touch, the fries were luke warm. And we got half the toppings that we were accustomed to at the previous location, for the same price.
The waffle was super chewy, and basically room temp (the taste was okay; not as good as the ones we had when they were in their small location), the tenders were the hottest thing between the plates and even they weren’t that hot. We ordered lemon pepper flavor— I’d have expected the chicken to be tossed in the seasoning and fully coated, but what we got was a small sprinkle across the top that we couldn’t even taste. I had to scrape what little was on the plate up to even taste it— which had they been seasoned appropriately, would have been fire.
The small location set such high expectations, maybe our bar was too high— but also feel like quality should not dip so much. Holy Brunch went from being our favorite spot, to being a place I’m unlikely to ever return to.
I try to be understanding, but being there right at open and that’s what we get, doesn’t set high hopes for a visit again at any other time of day.
Prices were fair for the quality we got before, but if today is an indication of the quality moving forward— severely overpriced for mediocre at best food and...
Read moreThis place is huge with TV's everywhere and it looks pretty nice inside and out. When I arrived no one greeted me. No one said a thing even though there where A LOT of servers. I stood at the front door for a minute and no one said anything. I eventually stopped a server and informed her that I wanted to order something to go and she directed me to the bar. It was easy to find a seat because it was almost empty. I went around 4p. I was sitting at the bar and watching the staff ignore me again and wondering how long they where going to let this go on. There were at least 4 people behind the bar with about 5 or so servers in front. When I couldn't take it any longer I stopped a lady behind the bar and told her what I wanted and she put my order in. This was my 1st time there. I grabbed a chicken Philly with fries. I wanted to check the place out because I heard they had a patio. I informed the bartender that I was going to check it out. I went up the 3 flights of stairs and saw how nice it was so I decided to eat up there. There is also a bar upstairs. I asked that bartender to transfer my food upstairs and he gave me a long speech about how he can't do that and didn't give me any assistance ever though there was probably another 5 servers up there. There were all sitting around chatting.. it was crazy to me.... You know what... To make a long story short the customer service was horrible but the food was damn good and so was the atmosphere. Enclosed is a pic of my food with a view. I will definitely be back but won't expect anything...
Read moreI went on 8/3 in the midday. Not super packed but enough people in there. Was greeted as soon as we walked in & was told it’ll be about a 30mom wait on food but not drinks. Understanding the place is new, we was okay with that. Waiter came, took our drink orders & food too. (They ordered drinks, not me). The waiter said the food wait won’t be long bc they were moving fast. Food came in a timely manner & was fresh! I enjoyed the meal & for that I’ll go back to try something else. Atmosphere was cool too & bright! This is the brunch burger & to my surprise it’s 2 patties!
Edit- I went back (2nd time) on 9/5/25 & this experience differed. I ordered the same thing as above. This time I got 1 patty instead of 2(no big deal), it was also missing the lettuce, tomato & onion. The biggest thing was the fries were waffle & not crinkled. A guy walk around (assuming new owner) asked bout my food, I expressed my gripe bout the fries & he said they’ve always had waffle fries & that day must’ve been a substitute. I’m not sure if I go back, maybe if I find something else I wanna...
