What is your business? Preparing and delivering food. Weather it be to the front counter , delivery or pickup. I have not had a correct order from the Plaza location now since I have been going to get food again. Today was the last time for me and the Plaza. I went to pick up my food and it was at rapid pick. I thought great someone as stolen it again. That was what happen the last time. They did remake the order less the baked goods they were now out of. But I on a rabbit trail, let's get back today. A Team, in a loud voice started quizzing about why I was there and what was my name. After giving my first then last name, I was presented with food. I reviewed the ticket taped to the bag. I was looking for a note saying we are out of X please see counter. No note. Also no sign off on the 'Order Reviewed by'. I didn't listen to the little voice that said check it here. I get home and we are missing both baked goods we ordered and we are short a of chips. So I call the Store and explain the issue and the Team member offer to make it right. So I tell him the items I need and he says that they are out of but have the other one. Do I want to come back to the store. I decided to go the refund route. Now he wants me to give out my credit card information to him. I have worked in IT for over 30 Years and I’m highly confident that this could all be done with the order number from my receipt. So no more Panera on the...

I ordered the veggie sandwich and swapped the tomato bread for ciabatta. Being this is a bread company, I couldn't be more disappointed in the bread. It was dry. It was not ciabatta. It did not have the open structure or soft chewy center. It was a close textured white bread substitute and quite frankly, not fresh at all. From the taste, it had to have been made days before.
I remember when I first went to a Panera back in 2004. It was so good. I was surprised a chain could be that good. I've tried it over the years and finally gave up after so many disappointing purchases. I went on a lark this time and it is the final time.
Please, at the very least, learn how to make your bread properly. But I realize that isn't the priority anymore. Good food isn't the priority. You got your money and that is what you wanted. It would be nice to see this chain take pride in its food, but alas...those are...
Read moreSo we’ve all been there and done that with Paneras. They all have the same feel about them, but this one feels more intimate. Maybe the space has less windows or lower ceilings than the 40 others I have visited. That being said, after having my mind set on a breakfast bagel…. Alas I got there at 11:02…. So no breakfast for me….. annnnnnd I may or may not have taken a minute to reset to lunch mode. I did not SEE any official posting of when breakfast ended, but either way as I waited to reboot, the dude behind me cleared his throat and I figured I needed to proceed. I ordered my sandwich and a cookie, and the gal behind the counter must have felt my order to be lacking in commitment. Either way I’m sure my order took way longer than it should have (probably not unlike this review). Either way, my order came out, I went back to the office. Everything was great and lo and behold when I opened my cookie bag there was not one …. BUT TWO COOKIES. Few things can make a Wednesday afternoon brighter…. Thanks...
