Best damn Birria Tacos this far North of the border… and you don’t need to climb a wall or dig a tunnel to get’m!!!
PINCHES is located right smack in the soul of Westport, so make time to shop or get that tattoo your momma would hate.
Their Tortas are to die for! Their tacos? Come On! PINCHES DELICIOUS!!! Both are PACKED like an ol’ canyon burrow with savory meats and melted Mexican cheese. And both are paired with Chiles Toreados, grilled onions, garden-sized cucumber slices and lime wedges! The only thing better for me would’ve been the addition of Fresh-Cut Red Radishes!
Be sure to explore the QuesoBirria Tacos, man! They’re “slap yo’ boy down” delicious!!! Accompanied with warm Birria Soup to skinny-dip your juicy tacos into! Trust me, you’ll make the trip back to the bar to grab more!!!
All sauces are Verde and come in Mild, YUM! and “That’ll leave a mark” DIABLO HOT! Now, I’ll admit I stumbled when I didn’t see my typical Gringo Red Taco Sauces on my tray. But have no fear Amigo, there is green in the rainbow of flavor!!!
And my NEW favorite sauce instantly became the PINCHES TACO Avocado Sauce with the perfecto bite of Spicy-spicy and sexy creaminess. Yes, I said sexy! For me, the Avocado Sauce was just what this gringo needed!!! Thanks for Bringing Sexy Back, PINCHES!
All ingredients are smokin’ fresh… from the Pico to the Pollo! The atmosphere is fresh too! Open seating, industrial lighting, cool colours and great views of Westport Rd. & Broadway BLVD. However, your sight may be somewhat distorted after downing a couple fresh Mango Margaritas from their Full-Service bar.
Placement of PINCHES TACOS is juxtaposed right beside the familiar Taco “Hell” Cantina. Hey man, eat your heart out if u love taco sauce in packets, scoops of greasy meats from an unknown origin that all taste the same! Sorta like ghosts… They BOTH taste like SHEET!
But, if ya wanna Fiesta in yo’ mouth with a Salsa in yo’ step, you best Tango straight into PINCHES!
Now, I took French in school… but I learned what “PINCHES” translates into English. That said, there are several translations. But my favorite one, well, is one George Carlin said couldn’t be spoken on television. Let’s jus’ say in Pig-Latin, it is pronounced… Uck-Fay!
IMO, they got it right! Best Ucking-Fay Mexican Food in C-Kay!
P.S. Word on the street is that Fresh, Hot Churros are coming soon. We were lucky and given an early taste of these heavenly Mexican treats!!!! I can honestly say, the BEST DAMN CHURROS I HAVE EVER TASTED!
So please, SUPPORT small Local Businesses!!! SUPPORT our KC Latino community! SUPPORT Taco Tuedays! SUPPORT Bottomless Mimosas! SUPPORT Torta Wednesdays! SUPPORT Loaded Fries Fridays! SUPPORT Sunday Brunch! SUPPORT Tiny Mexican Hairless Chihuahuas! By giving PINCHES TACOS KC some love!

Heck! You can even charge your new EV less than 30 paces from PINCHES front door at one of KC’s NEW Metro Evergy...
Read moreWe came to visit and seen the hype of this restaurant on tiktok, We were really excited to try this place out wanted some good tacos and michelada for a hangover. When we got there it seemed pretty neutral, small, crowded and only one server serving and working the register and making drinks, When we ordered our drinks the girl told us the fridge was not working so had to serve our drinks in a cup with ice, which sucked because a Mexican glass Coca cola always hits cold and just really wanted that burp or crisp iykyk. Nope she popped it right open and poured it into glass with ice, didnt taste the same, we ordered a michelada, super bland basically clamato and tajin and ofcourse beer. The menu was pretty basic, My husband wanted 3 tacos with different meats, with a side of beans and rice, the girl told us we could only pick one meat for all tacos which sucks because why cant we pick different meats? So basically paid $3 per taco with the selected meat. With everything that we ordered we paid $62, We still got charged for side of beans and rice and only the beans were given no rice, I was really hungry so I decided to start off with chips and queso. Got our chips and queso the queso was COLD, and BLAND, I also ordered some Mexican spring rolls? Again COLD & bland, for my entree, I ordered 3 quesabirrias, again COLD AND BLAND, The tables were really small so we placed the full order if chips and queso on another empty table, Mexican spring rolls cold set aside as well and when i got my entree i was just super hungry and mad at this point, my quesabirrias had absolutely not flavor, the food was terrible, I was the last to receive my food out of 4 of us I was very hungry and annoyed because we had already paid $62 and left basically everything to be thrown away, I didn’t end up taking it thats how bad it was, we left the food as is. I was just highly disappointed, I would not recommend this place to anyone, We didnt want tonmake it a big deal because its embarrassing and we are not from Missouri, So there was no point in saying anything that would of made it better, It could improve but if we are ever in Missouri again, We will for sure know now lol, and not ever return. Its expensive and just not even...
Read moreI have so many things to say about this place. 1st I don’t know how they’re allowed to use the name as it’s so easily confused with Denver’s highest standard taqueria - and to make note it is NOT Pinche Tacos from Denver. Secondly it’s nauseatingly bright inside, so expect glaring lights above you no matter where you sit. Service is very hit and miss, the first time I tried to go we just sat at the bar for 20 minutes and watched the ‘bartenders’ attend a line of to go orders, after which we just got up and left. Tonight I was fortunate enough to get tended to at the bar, I wanted them to make me a mezcal margarita, but they don’t have fresh lime juice, just a machine with premade margaritas in it which is quite disappointing, if you’re looking for an authentic Mexican taco experience. I got two tacos, a campechano and an al pastor, I was served two identical tacos, which I am assuming were campechanos as there was no pastor pork or pineapple haha, they were delicious. Absolutely authentic and delicious. I’ll be happy to come back, hopefully they will make the dining room a little bit more suitable by lowering the lights and step up their margarita game by allowing customers to order margaritas with different tequilas and mezcal’s. One can hope. Oh and the last thing - their spiciest salsa isn’t spicy at all, which was a huge disappointment And I keep adding to this because I need to - I just witness some ladies ordering some ‘skinny’ margaritas, which are literally the house margarita, with a splash of soda on top. I don’t get it. They don’t offer anything more than their house, sugar margarita - no agave, no options and in no way does a splash or soda on top of a sugary margarita make it...
