I ordered a Royals shirt online to pick up either on lunch or after work since I work downtown. I didn't get a chance to go during lunch so I went after work. I get off of work at 4:00 p.m. and that is actually when the hustle and bustle of downtown really begins. So I park on the street in front of the store on Grand not even knowing if it's a place that I can park but I figure I was just going to be running in and out. When I placed my order it only told me that I needed to bring in my ID. I have never ordered and picked up from this location before but every other location that I picked up from all they asked for was my ID. I went in and unfortunately it wasn't an in and out situation. The young lady, although very nice, could not find whatever was needed to give me my item. She acquired assistance from someone else who was able to do whatever it was he needed to do but said he needed to scan a barcode on my phone. I told him that my phone was in the car but he still said that I needed to have that barcode. Nonetheless I walked out of the store without my item because I feared that I was going to get towed and again I was in the hustle and bustle of traffic and trying to get back on the Kansas side. Again when I ordered my shirt and got the confirmation it only said bring in my ID. Now I will say that once I checked the email stating to come pick it up even towards the top of the email it says bring your ID. But towards the bottom of the email where no one would scroll to it says show this barcode. I didn't see that until I got home because I wanted to see where it said to show the barcode. I just thought that this was an entire waste of time and the fact that I had my ID and still couldn't get my merchandise...
Read moreThis is solely based off my experience today. I am a frequent customer of this particular location, I went in today around 1:30pm to return a shirt. I only had my receipt via email… Only to learn the email system was down. Which I understand. However, The associate was very dismissive and nonchalant about it, He didn’t offer an apology for the inconvenience he just quickly said I couldn’t return it I even asked when it would be up again and he brushed me off. Totally unacceptable as if I was bothering him. The younger associate ( a young African American male) was eager to assist and even suggested that I visit the union station location. I usually don’t leave bad reviews but I felt like bother versus a customer today. Thank you to the young man for trying. He seemed new but I...
Read moreRally House Power & Light is the perfect stop if you’re a sports fan in Kansas City. The store has a huge selection of Chiefs, Royals, and local college gear with more variety than I expected. Everything was organized and easy to shop and the quality of the merchandise was great. The staff was friendly and helpful without being pushy and they clearly know their stuff. It is right in the heart of Power & Light which makes it super convenient if you are already downtown for a game, concert, or night out. Prices are what you would expect for official team gear but the selection and convenience make it worth it. Definitely recommend stopping by if you want to grab some KC gear...
