Extremely poor experience at this MK store in Katy Mills. They tell us that they won’t give us MK paper bags to carry our purchase over $500 because we availed the special discount for bulk when you spend over $500 dollars. Something they don’t advertise or share and it’s one of those things that you know of you know. They can’t deny it and they can’t accept it but they have to acknowledge it if you know. It’s SO crappy!! Poor service… the person who turned around to not show her face took half an hour to check us out… counted and recounted our bags behind the till as if we were stealing - like she messed up majorly and couldn’t keep track. Messed up some keys for her manager as well and was just not up for the task. Despite us letting her know that my friend was travelling internationally and was flying out she was not willing to budge, saying they are low on stock for paper bags and because we availed the discount we couldn’t have them and would have to pay $5 for each bag!! WTH?! Even the other customer behind the till was shocked and trying to help us but these ladies did not care. They are willing to sacrifice their reputation for something so small. Despite taking over 30 mins to ring us and check us out the security thing beeped at the exit. We were frustrated!! We would have walked away but had already spent so much time selecting the bags for us that it was a moot point. When we had to go back because of the security, they never helped us and another employee shared what a poor experience they had working their and they they would pat then down everyday as if they were stealing. My mom and sister went to this location to purchase 30 Michael Kors purses as individual gifts for a big event we are helping host for our local high school. The customer service (INCLUDING the manager) was absolutely horrible and they treated my mom and sister as if they were doing something wrong for buying so many purses at once... then after many rude/passive aggressive comments, they refused to give the gift bags that each purse is supposed to come with. I bought a wallet and a purse and when I got home I took out my bags to spray them with the leather protector, but the wallet wasn’t the one I wanted. The lady had grabbed the wrong one out of the drawer and didn’t make sure t was the correct one and didn’t let me check and just put it in the bag. I will be coming back to return it and get the right one I wanted! I wish they didn’t rush you so much! I wanted to look at a lot more and possibly get more items, but they just rush you so much!
