Original Thai — Restaurant in Laconia

Wow! Finally some quality Asian food in Laconia!

Five of us placed an online order for five entrees and a few apps to pick up. We were impressed that our order was ready to go in twenty minutes on a busy Saturday night. Everything came home as ordered with proper accouterments and chopsticks.

The food was awesome. We shared Gyoza, Scallion Pancakes, and Chicken Sa Tae to begin. Each came with appropriate yummy sauce and they were all hot and well cooked! The dumplings were soft yet crisp and really tasty! The scallion pancakes maybe could have used a few more scallions in the mix rather than on top but were cooked to a perfect doneness. The cucumber and peanut sauce on the sa tae were delicious.

We tried green and yellow curries, tofu and beef Pad Thai, and pork Drunken Noodles. We all admired the obviously fresh crunchy vegetables, tasty noodles, and yummy sauces. First time trying Original Thai and was freaking blown away!! My boyfriend and I split the Cracker Chicken (spice 2), Basil Fried Rice with Pork (spice 2), and Gyoza dumplings and then we each had an order of the Drunken Noodles, mine with pork and a spice 3 and his with beef and a spice 2. Everything was absolutely delicious. I will say it was pretty spicey so watch out there but I prefer to burn my mouth with spice when eating so this was perfect for me!! These pics were taken after we ate a bunch for lunch. The portions were large and the prices were so so reasonable! We ended up eating this for lunch 2 days in a row and even for dinner 1 night so definitely large portions. This was our first time order at Original Thai and we were extremely pleased with the entire experience. As other reviews have stated the food was very fresh and perfectly seasoned. Ordered lo mein, pad chilie, orange chicken, spring rolls and giant dumplings and all were delicious. The sauce with the orange chicken ‘was out of this’ world great.
