LetterPress — Restaurant in Lake Buena Vista

Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at Letterpress inside the Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace where my experience was significantly enriched thanks to an exceptional server named Hector. Not only did Hector's exceptional service leave a lasting impression on my mother and I, but it also heightened our overall dining experience and made our visit memorable. From the moment we sat down, Hector's warm smile and genuine enthusiasm were contagious. He greeted us with such genuine friendliness that it immediately put us at ease and made us feel welcomed. Hector's positive energy and infectious enthusiasm added a delightful touch to my dining experience. Also our dinner was nothing short of delicious. The food was exceptional and the service from everyone in the restaurant exceeded our expectations. Whoever the chef is they are the best!! Food was fresh and the chili soup was the best I’ve ever had. I highly recommend Letterpress for dinner!...

Came in for breakfast. Boyfriend wanted to get the buffet and I wanted to order French toast. Jean our waiter came over, asked if we wanted coffee (not very nicely) and picked up the menu. I think he assumed that we were both getting the buffet. Boyfriend got his attention to call him over, he did not come over immediately, which is fine, they were busy. Boyfriend had gone up to get more food when Jean came back to the table and said "yeah he called me". I ordered the French toast. He walks away and the table behind us must have waved for him because he said "yes sir" and went right over. When he brought out my order I thanked him and he just kind of grunted. We have basically been ignored unless we get his attention and call him over. He seems to be pleasant to other patrons at the tables around us. When we stay at Hilton BVP we always have breakfast at The Letterpress because of the servers some who have been there since way before BVP was in the Hilton portfolio. Like server Joan and Hostess Brenda who meets us with big smiles and hugs as returning guests that have become friends. We are glad the omelette station has returned and was delicious as is the fresh fruit, bacon, sausage, danish, toast, we made our own waffle one day and had fluffy kitchen made pancakes the other day. There is cereal if you like, choice of juice, cheeses and gluten free options. Adults nor children will not go hungry at this breakfast buffet. The only miss is on some sites they are still advertising the character breakfast which no longer exists and I admit I miss seeing my Disney friends too! See you next time Joan and Brenda!
