Went to this Wendyās at 10:30 P.M., Monday January 2nd to order some food and had an AWFUL experience with the MANAGER ANGELA on shift.
We ordered a spicy chicken sandwich with two spicy chicken Pattieās on the side, and a Daveās single combo. While ordering, we asked the simple question to clarify something with our order. We just asked if the Daveās single burger comes with bacon. Up to this point we were only speaking with the cashier, but upon asking the aforementioned question, the manager cut onto the speaker and said āare you trying to order or play?ā. We asked what she meant by that and she then said āit clearly says on the Daveās single that it has bacon on the menuā. As a matter of fact, the menu does not clarify in text what ingredients go into the Daveās classic burgers. We calmly explained that no, it doesnāt say explicitly that bacon is on the burger and that is why we were ASKING A QUESTION. She did not even reply back after we tried to defend ourselves and were left on hold for another 2 minutes with complete silence. This is not a normal reaction for when a customer has an inquiry about the product. This is an unacceptable attitude from a manager of an establishment.
To our understanding, the cashier at the time did not know the answer to our question and asked his manager, Angela, for help. But it seems like her patience was too thin and ended up stressing both us, the customers, as well as her employee.
The food here is great the the cashier is helpful, but I tend to come to this branch at this time to eat but knowing Angela is there makes me apprehensive to return.
BONUS: When I got home, there was no bacon on my Daveās Single....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI used to LOVE Wendy's. I still like them when you can actually order your food as you want it.
Instead, at least at this location, you are forced to order at a kiosk. For me it's slower and I didn't get my combo the way I thought I was ordering. When my food actually arrived my hamburger was NOT as I had 'ordered' on the kiosk. At least so I thought.
When I took it back to the counter the lady asked my name (which I did not provide and presume they got from my card which I didn't like as I prefer to use an alias in public) and then proceeded to rotate the screen to show me how I ordered it. She then said, "We can fix it.". I had neither the time (as it took them much longer to fix my meal as it had for years in the past) nor did I have the interest in wasting my time with someone who I thought had treated me rudely by rotating the screen instead of just listening to what I had attempted to order and 'fixing it'.
I give this location my least possible score and do not intend to go back to it again. Good luck if you go. You'll need to take your time and be on your toes to get it right if you want it ANY other way than it it usually made...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSpent 10 minutes in drive thru listening to the manager on the speaker complain about how she wanted to go home and needed to go home. Tried saying āexcuse meā to get her attention, but she didnāt stop complaining...I waited an extra two minutes and saw that people were pulling up behind me.. So I pulled up to the window where she had a nasty attitude and told me that the only way that she could place my order was over the speaker and that I had to pull around and order..then I asked for a manager..she told me she was the manager. I asked for corporates number and she closed the window on me and locked it then went to call the police..now Iāve worked in fast food and know that you can pull up to order..especially if thereās not anyone trying to take your order on the speaker! Why should I have to pull around to the very end of the line because she was busy complaining about how she āwantedā and āneededā to go home? edit I went to read the other reviews and looks like someone else had a bad experience with the same lady with blond hair and bad teeth..that says sheās the manager and was complaining on the speaker when trying to...
