Nice Looking Place, Good Food, Smiling Faces, Downtown Atmosphere, and South Side Charm I recently had the pleasure of visiting Davy's, located on the south side of downtown, and I must say it was a delightful experience from start to finish. As soon as I entered, I was captivated by the charming ambiance of the place, which perfectly blended the energy of downtown with the unique charm of the south side. The decor at Davy's was tastefully done, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that reflected the character of the south side. The combination of rustic elements with modern touches added to the overall appeal, creating a space that felt both trendy and comfortable. It was clear that a lot of thought had been put into capturing the essence of the south side charm. The standout aspect of Davy's was the fantastic service. The staff members were not only friendly and attentive but also seemed to embody the welcoming spirit of the south side. They greeted guests with genuine smiles, were knowledgeable about the menu, and went above and beyond to ensure that every guest had a memorable experience. The warm and inviting demeanor of the staff truly added to the south side charm of the place. In addition to the excellent service, Davy's offered a diverse and satisfying menu. The food was not only delicious but also showcased the flavors and culinary traditions of the south side. From hearty comfort food to creative fusion dishes, there was something for everyone. Whether you're craving classic southern cuisine or looking to explore new culinary delights, Davy's delivers with its impressive menu. Davy's also boasted a great selection of beverages, including an array of craft beers and well-crafted cocktails. The bartenders at Davy's were skilled mixologists who took pride in their craft. They were not only knowledgeable about the drinks but also offered personalized recommendations based on individual preferences. Sipping on a perfectly crafted cocktail or enjoying a local craft beer added to the overall enjoyment of the south side experience. The live performances at Davy's further enhanced the vibrant atmosphere. Local musicians and artists took the stage, adding a touch of entertainment to your visit. The diverse range of performers showcased the artistic talent that the south side is known for. Whether it was a soulful singer or a lively band, the live music added an extra layer of excitement to the south side charm of Davy's. Located on the south side of downtown, Davy's also offered a convenient and accessible location. Being in close proximity to other popular establishments and attractions, it served as a perfect spot to start or end a night out in the area. The lively energy and unique character of the south side were reflected in the overall atmosphere of Davy's. In conclusion, I highly recommend Davy's for its nice atmosphere, good food, smiling faces, downtown atmosphere, and south side charm. The combination of its inviting decor, friendly service, delicious food and beverages, live performances, and convenient location on the south side of downtown make it a must-visit destination. Whether you're a local resident or a visitor looking to experience the vibrant spirit of the south side, Davy's offers an authentic and memorable experience that captures the true essence of the area.

I Stumbled upon this treasure after apartment hunting in the Arts District. I was hungry for something fast, but I wanted to sit down to enjoy my food. Security did check my ID to enter(21+) , but he was very kind and directed me to the bar to find a menu and order food. It was around 8pm on a Friday, so there was plenty of seating, including these cute little couched booth areas. I actually wanted to sit in one, but decided to leave them open for bigger parties. I sat at a tall table near the bar and it was an aesthetically pleasing vibe with cool pirate’s artifacts shelved behind me and beautifully dim lighting. (My inner mermaid felt comforted). I ordered the “Pork and Bacon Cheeseburger” with a coke… AMAZING! The bacon was fresh, the pulled pork was juicy and the burger was tender! The chipotle mayo was a wonderful addition. The burger was served with chips instead of fries… and that was an unexpected textured delight. The bar tender suggested I try the pulled pork nachos next time. I’ll definitely be back for lunch. They do have WiFi, so I could definitely see this spot as an content editing comfort zone

The food is a complete rip-off. I have never seen wings this small in my life, and they were $12.00 for just six. And I could count by hand the number of chips they put on my plate.. I understand the economy is suffering, and prices are up, but this is off the charts. I also pay more for food at other establishments, but the portions make up for it. This place has good reviews, so I'm assuming the drinks are good, but I don't drink alcohol, and so I will never come back. The only reason I didn't give it 1 star is because the bar tender was nice and had on a cool shirt.

I knew it had the Davey's Locker sign from that awesome dive on Desert Inn, but I didn't realize it was carrying out a pirate theme --I haven't been here since they first opened a few years ago, when it was just a beer bar with no vibe. But I went here again tonight and it was so much more interesting! I hope they eventually lay the nautical shtick on super-thick...so far it kinda-sorta feels like you're in a pirate ship, but I hope they make it even more claustrophobic and creaky. I'd like to feel like I was riding on Pirates of the Caribbean, ya know? But overall they're off to a good start; the drinks were reasonably priced and well made with fresh, quality ingredients. Shout out to Ricky!...
