We participated in Hogs and Heifers version of Bike Fest. Basically we paid $1000 to have a spot. They put us in an alleyway as a road block. We were NEVER told that we would have to deal with bikers entering on their bikes, though our actual site, and directly though our line for customers. People had to literally move to not get hit. I actually was almost hit by a biker coming in fast off the street. Which was a huge safety concern and annoyance. We paid $1,000 to put our customers in a position to almost get hit by bikes.
The first night, Penny who was managing this whole event comes and tells my partner off in front of me. Because a vendor (who she was openly friends with) complained. Her friend said we should not be allowed to wear our vests, give cards, or bring people from the crowd over to our virtual reality experience. All because potential customers of his, may follow us back to our experience. He said we were stealing business. We are an attraction. Not a T-shirt stand. There is no competition. So we were told by Penny who actually stated that because he paid $5,000 and we only paid $1,000, we could not leave our area or promote ourselves. We could not even wear our vests, but all the other vendors wore their logos. All she offered to help, allow us to have our cards at their bar. She also said we were just branding so no biggie. We were not there to brand. We were there to make money.
The next day, the bikers were going though our line, non stop. The cops finally shut it off. They told us to keep the gate closed. Our neighbor vendor opened it right back up. Our friend who had stopped by, came to the rescue after I was almost hit. She closed the gate. The guy on our left, came up and got upset with her. She didn't care or reopen it. But he did, after she left. Our partner and one employee were confronted by this man a few hours later. This guy goes up, while she's sitting down and yells in her face. He said he made sure we were about to have major problems because our small, 60 year old grandmother friend, grabbed his shirt. Which no one saw, and she denied. He yelled at my partner regardless. He yelled at her that she wasn't to close the gate again. She ended up in tears.
So the other partners and I come back to all this. They went to confront the guy. Which I have on video. It got out of hand, fast. After they went back and fourth about what happened, a Hogs and Heifers bouncer(who was openly friends with this guy) came up and yelled at one of my partners and physically grabbed his arm while yelling at him. I have on video that my partners never yelled or threatened anyone prior to this bouncer grabbing one of them outside of the bar. He had zero right to put his hands on anyone, especially on a public street.
Penny was called over at this point. The on site cops also came over. They actually told Penny bikes going though our site was a huge safety hazard. AND they showed her an email, SHE wrote to them (prior to the event) saying do NOT let bikes though there. She disregarded that and said the bikes will continue to go though our site, and if we don't like it we can leave. My partners argued it. We ultimately lost.
We demanded our money back as we could not promote, we could not be safe from bikes hitting us, and we had to just deal with Hogs and Heifers putting their hands on us when no one was being threatened or harmed.
Penny said no refund. Michelle's husband(the owners of the whole thing) ended up getting involved and sided with us. He was pissed that we had to go though any of it. He told us he would call us if he could fix it and we could come back to try and make some money. We never heard from him, they all refused to respond. So we could not return. So we are now trying to get our money back. After everything they put us though....they still refuse. We are looking into suing over all this, if they continue to fight refunding us.
I am disgusted with how they do business

Read morePros and cons, first let me say that I think the place is a blast with with the right bartenders. I would say most are really good and even a few are great. WeWe real have a good time. Cons... Okay unfortunately, I think the upper hand of the place needs to pay attention more to some of the girls because there are a couple of girls that are are ripping customer off, for instance we go up to buy the bartender a shot I'll have what she has and then my male friend will have his shot, like Jack Daniels. When she mixes are shot in the mixer glass it is part alcohol and part 7-Up or Sprite something like that, I I understand, being a bartender myself you can't drink straight shots all night or you have drunk bartenders. I let it go the first time but we met people there and again went up to buy the bartender a shot myself my and another couple, the guys had Jack Daniels and the bartender myself andand other lady. We all had the same. So now with it being 3 shot she's made in the mixer cup was even weaker because of it being 3. And the guy was paying full price for all the shots supposedly. Then, we were getting charged one time a higher price than it should have been. We found this out from one of the other gal bartenders, who also said the bartenders that charge too much was not new. Now I don't know how many bartenders do this because I've only heard of the one but, hustling or trying to see if someone had meth, because she was wanting some. The guy she asked was at one time long ago, a meth user. He was pretty surprised by it and not pleased. He had told me this himself I did not hear but I believe of course. I know the women cater to the men for obvious reasons. Last but worse, there is one bartender there well, one that I only know of right now, who is selling more than just drinks and I'm not talkin drugs. I understand yes, there are men that are stupid enough to fall for the sex talk the girls will do, anything for bigger tips. But when it turns to her saying if you think Im good now wait until I get off work and makes a sexual gesture and then the guy is really excited and says oh hell yeah and she responds with, good if the price is right. Needless to say he went for it.
We don't come in to regularly we have come a lot because we bring friends in that come to visit or people we know that haven't been there before. For the record let's just say that guy ended up having a $400 night that includes the drinks beforehand. All of these occurrences happened at different times we have gone there. It seems to be some of the bartenders that are new because we know a lot of the ones that have been there longer and who we actually like and Trust. It's been a little while now since we've gone back. But we will check it out just to see if things...
Read moreMy bride and I chose Las Vegas to celebrate our nuptials(which was a great choice!!). We are now just getting to post some reviews of our experiences. Sadly this is the only business receiving a negative one. A group of us popped in for an after dinner drink and some of the girls were invited to dance on the bar. One of the bouncers came over and told one of the girls she was too drunk to do so(which is fine). After that other girls were literally falling over each other not able to stand on their own.I went over to the same bouncer (long blond hair) to make him aware that there are a couple girls over there so drunk they look like they could hurt themselves. When my wife approached us he flips to her and says the reason she couldn't be on bar is because she is too ugly.🤣🤣 Really guy? Who would even say such a thing? I only posted this review so the owner knows what type of a person he has working for them. Again let me state that the bartenders are beautiful and professional and other bouncers we're complete gentlemen! We were there 2-21-22 at...
