I would never recommend anyone eat here, ever. This was my first time, my mother in law had eaten at the other location numerous times over the years and she was very excited to treat my husband and I to a nice dinner. I hope the other location is better.
The pretentiousness this place has for how awful it is, outrageous. I tried to make reservations and was told they don't accept reservations on GameDay weekends and that we need to get there as soon as possible from when they open to get a table. We were staying at the hotel next door, so after checking in I went to get our name on the wait-list. I was told they wouldn't put me on the wait-list until my entire party was present. I get not seating until everyone is there, but not putting you on the wait-list? But I guess everyone else must be figuring out how bad this place is because a 30 minute wait at 7pm on a Friday is a bad sign.
We got there and the hostess said it would be a 25-30 minute wait for a party of 3, no big deal. I asked the hostess if we could wait at the bar, she said yes. We finished our drinks and I noticed several empty tables, we ordered a second round and I went to ask the hostess about how much longer she thought it would be. She told me that I wouldn't believe what happened, but somebody stole our table! Crazy! We were then seated immediately, but we were an inconvenience because my mother in law wanted a booth and they needed to clean one first. When we sat down we asked the busboy if we could get waters and he told us that wasn't his job. We had to ask 3 times for waters and my husband had to ask 4 times to get his drink. He didn't even get it until we were almost done "eating." The food was atrocious. I got a ceaser salad and it was disgusting. There was also no Parmesan or croutons, when I asked for some, I was told they were out. Who runs out of croutons? While waiting for our entrees we noticed all the other tables had bread, so we asked if we could have some. Our server brought it to us after bringing the entrees and I have never been served cold bread before. It wasn't even worth asking for it. My husband and I ordered prime rib, it was so disgusting that I had to take a second bite to make sure it was really as bad as I thought. It just tasted like salt. My mother in law said that her French dip was also bad. The server didn't have the guts to even look us in the eyes when we said we didn't like any of it. Misty's was gracious enough to take 20% off our outrageous bill. My mother in law did take the food to go, but that's only because she didn't want to see her money go to waste. None of us took more than 2 bites. I will never be dining here again and I will make sure I tell everyone to avoid it like the plague. My mother in law would like her money back, but in cash because a gift card just makes her go back and spend money at this poor excuse of...

If you want a decent steak at a dive bar for the price of a quality steakhouse, this is your place.
I am from out of town so this is an objective review of this restaurant. I am sure to the locals it is a great place but not at all what I expected for a $50 Steakhouse.
We went in a Tuesday night with a party of 8 and the restaurant was only about 1/3 full.
My prime rib was a good flavor and texture and cooked as I requested, medium rare, but others in our group didn't get it cooked right. One had a filet overcooked and the other had prime rib bites undercooked. The mashed potatoes that came with my steak tasted like cafeteria quality.... Not inedible but definitely flavors like it has been sitting in a metal pan for hours and they sprinkled paprika on top (which was weird).
Multiple people in the party sent the lobster bisque soup back because it was essentially creamy tomato soup with seafood flavor. No lobster or any other seafood to be found in the soup.
I got 2 different draft beers and both had a dirty taste to them. They definitely need to clean their draft lines and their beer distributor should stop bringing new beer until they do! I have never tasted this before and I have drank many beers at many places.
The service was slow, slow, slow. Slow to take drink orders, slow to bring drinks, and even slower for the food to come out. I think it was at least 40 minutes from ordering to food being brought to the table. My guess is the food had been sitting for a while because it wasn't very warm.
The atmosphere is the most confusing part of this restaurant. I'm OK with a dive bar with great food but Misty's prices their appetizers in the $15-25 price range and steaks in the $40-60 range, which gives the impression of a quality Steakhouse. But when you walk in, the decor and quality of the furnishings is somewhere between diner and old sports bar. Formica tables with metal chairs, dirty old worn carpet, wood panel an paint peeling and the bathrooms had the feel of a gas station. If I am paying $50 for prime rib I expect my steak to be on a plate made from ceramic of some sort. The meal for everyone, came out on a stainless steel saucer which sits inside a cheap plastic outer shell reminiscent of hospital service dishes. I was actually stunned by the presentation and sat trying to figure out what I was looking looking at.
My guess is this place was really nice 20+ years ago but has not been maintained and riding in the coat tails of...

I came in as a solo diner and was seated right away. The restaurant wasn’t busy; there were maybe five tables occupied, yet I counted at least six or seven staff members, including busboys and waitresses. Despite that, I sat unnoticed for several minutes. No one acknowledged me until about seven minutes later when a waitress rushed over from the back, apologizing for the delay.
As a restaurant owner myself, I understand that things happen — delays, miscommunication, even bad nights. So I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I ordered some appetizers first, then later my steak. I clearly asked for it to be cooked medium. Unfortunately, it came out rare. I asked for it to be taken back, and they re-cooked it.
Anyone who knows steak understands that once it’s returned to the grill, it won’t come out medium — it’ll go straight to well-done. That’s exactly what happened. I didn’t complain again because I’m not a picky eater, but I definitely noticed the difference in taste and texture.
After finishing my meal — steak, baked potato, and French onion soup — I was in the mood for something sweet, which is rare for me. But no one returned to check on me for another five to seven minutes. Eventually, the waitress came back — not with dessert, but with the bill.
The total came to $77. I left $100 and walked out. Not because the service deserved a 30%+ tip, but because my ego wouldn’t let me leave anything less than $20.
To the owner: if you’re open to feedback and would like help improving service or operations, I’d be happy to share insights from my own experience in the industry. I genuinely hope this feedback helps...
