Let's see where do i begin, the server was obviously new and I don't expect them to know everything. The food here was ok, we were almost over charged for our drinks which is fine mistakes happen. My issue was with the attitude I was given by the I would assume manager here who was wearing a brown shirt. I had a Greek salad and my problem was that when I bit into the olive in the salad I didn't know it had a pit and almost broke my tooth. The manager guy we will call him didn't apologize but said I should of known. I have had Greek salads at other restaurants and the olives were not pitted. "We'll we assume that people know that" not only was he rude to me he was also very rude to the girl servers working there. First I would never work for this place and be talked down to like that. Secondly if I owned a place like that and I seen my manager pull that he or she would be fired immediately. Now my friend and myself run our own businesses and were here on business and I can tell you we make his yearly salary in month so I can't rally put myself in his shoes because I would never work a job like that. All that aside in my business practices you never argue with the customer and point out that they are wrong and you are right. I will tell you we will never be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy friend and I came here on our lunch break today, everything started out great like every other time we come here, server was prompt, and got us everything we needed. I ordered a small greek salad with chicken, with extra tomato, and extra feta. I cut up my chicken, when to stab into my salad, going in to take a bite, I noticed bloody chicken, I looked at the rest of my chicken, and found three more pieces with blood in it. Our server came back, asked if everything is okay, I said absolutely not and pointed to the bloody chicken. She looked at it and said " I don't know what that is" , I responded with "that's bloody chicken". She then takes my bowl to the manager, and comes back saying "we are going to take off the chicken, extra tomato, and extra feta off your bill". I responded with " I don't think I should have to pay my salad at all, I didn't even get to eat it, as the whole salad was contaminated with chicken blood", she said "that is what the manager said we can do". My friend and I then went up to the counter, the manager looked at my friend said very rudely "where's the ticket", he then snatched it off the printer, told us the total of almost $25, so we still paid for a salad that wasn't eaten and was contaminated by...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHorrible experience last time I stopped in at the Coney island with my boyfriend for dinner one night last month. The fries were undercooked, the grilled cheese was cold, the spinach pie was cold, and the chicken lemon rice soup was over cooked, or maybe not even cooked at all. Horrible waittress who took care of us too. She had a horrible attitude and gave off a negative vibe as soon as she came to our table, and took our drink orders. I sent all the food back and told her that she is violating food safety regulations, and that she really can't be selling this type of food to customers or to anyone in general. I had worked in food service for almost 2 years, and none of this would pass against servsafe regulations and they could be sued if someone were to contract ecoli. I spoke to one of the assistant managers working that night, Theresa I think her name was, and she was great. But, I hope she does realize they need to keep a close eye on how these people are cooking food in the kitchen and how long they are cooking it. Needless to say, probably won't be back...
