EggBred — Restaurant in Long Beach

I've lived in Long Beach for 5 years and frequently passed this establishment but had no idea what it was. It wasn't until I recently saw an IG reel showcasing their delicious menu that intrigued my taste buds. This is hands down the best place for breakfast burritos. But NOT ONLY THAT, their sandwiches are amazing as well. My personal go to's are: -The Ribeye California-- amazing cut of Asada, crispy papas, delicious and flavorful eggs + a great amount of avocado and cheese. -The Country Fried Chicken Sandwich-- crispy fried and flavorful chicken, all the fixings + the yummy country sausage gravy. My Son absolutely loves their kids meals-- highlighting the beer batted potatoes as his favorite. Sauces are my thing. The Paprika Spread is close to heaven on earth. Their avocado crema and salsa verde are also amazing as well. (I use every one for every bite hahaha) The price is absolutely worth it, the staff are the most welcoming and friendly while also remaining efficient and helpful. I had a very disappointing experience here. From the moment I walked in, the customer service was poor. The cashier acted as if I was bothering her just by placing an order. I ordered a country fried steak sandwich, and unfortunately, it was completely burned—leaving a strong burnt taste in my mouth. I politely asked for a replacement, and while the manager shouted out the new order, it never arrived.

After waiting 20 minutes for the second item (on top of the 25 minutes I waited for the first), I went back to the cashier. She seemed irritated—possibly because the place was extremely hot and had no fans or proper ventilation—and acted like she had no idea what I was talking about.

At that point, I just asked for a refund. Even that process was confusing and unprofessional. I was told the manager would take a screenshot of the voided sale and send it to me the next day. Honestly, it should never be this difficult to get a simple breakfast sandwich.

I won’t be returning, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend this...

Believe the bad reviews. I told myself last time I tried this place that I’ll never return. It’s been several months, so I thought maybe they got it together, maybe they got nice staff members, maybe they actually put some eggs in their breakfast burrito. NOPE! This place is awful. The same girl has taken my order the 3 times I’ve tried this place. Each time she’s acted like she’s too busy with mobile orders to worry about someone actually in the restaurant. I was the only person ordering at the counter, but somehow it still took them 20 minutes to make one burrito. They’re entirely too focused on mobile orders. When I finally got my food, the burrito is mostly potatoes. Where’s the egg?! It’s one egg!! A $13 potato burrito is what I got. I will absolutely not give this place another try. I wish I could post a picture of all the mushy potatoes in my burrito. I feel...
