Today, I wanted to treat my son to a celebratory drink at Jamba Juice and was surprised to see my orders short compared to what I paid for. I bought two large (30 ounces) drinks and one medium (28 ounces) drink. After receiving my order, I asked Devon and Carlos why my large drinks were not filled to the top. In essence, they both rudely responded “there is nothing, I can do about it.….Have a nice day!!!”
Devon went on to explain that the recipe makes 28 ounces for the large and 26 ounces for the medium. They knowingly still charge full price for the cup, without filling the cup to the top. I asked Carlos for my refund, then Devon “jumped in” and said “make him wait.” It appeared he was disgusted and annoyed by my request to receive what I was paying for.
Devon retaliated by ensuring that I wait an additional 15 minutes for my refund to be processed. He continued his rant by angrily walking my cups closer to the exit after I left them on top of the side countertop.
In closing, they both refused to provide me with a paper receipt documenting the refund, but told me the drinks would be refunded later. As I left the store, they both continued their destructive behavior by mocking me and saying “have a nice day” in a condescending tone while in front of arriving customers.
Ultimately, I will not be returning to this location or recommending this location to anyone I know or come in...
Read moreWhile I know Jamba is a chain business, I am from a small town in central Oregon where chain businesses still have a sense of that local hometown feel. I used to love going to Jamba with my mom and siblings, it was always a treat growing up, a treat I like to get myself as an adult while running errands or on my way home from work. However, this Jamba, and honestly every Jamba I've been to in southern California, has been a major disappointment. To a point where I feel that it has gone downhill. I usually get the plant based drinks because I have a dairy allergy, though I feel that the employees do not take this seriously, the last Jamba I had I was violently ill (what usually happens after having dairy) and ended up having to throw most of my very expensive drink away. As well, the plant based drinks have a stringy inedible substance in them that are incredibly annoying, and I often find that my drink is never blended enough. Lastly, whenever I go into the location itself (which is usually this location) there is never a sense of urgency and there is always at least two employees not doing anything at all, even though there is usually a long line of people waiting for their drinks. I'm also often ignored when I come in and have to actually get the attention of an employee in order to ask about my...
