La Michoacana Plus — Restaurant in Long Beach

Customer service needs work. We went in yesterday night . When we entered there was 3 girls working there. When we first walking in there was a crowd of people . They help customers just walking in while you've been waiting in line longer. We waited about 5 minutes and decides to walk out and wait for the crowd to clear as the workers clearly have a hard time with helping whoever was next. When everyone left we decided to walk back in. We were the only people in there when we walked back in. We stood in line waiting for one of them to help us. One girl looked like she was working on someone else's order , one saw us but went into the back section and the other one was sweeping. They all saw us standing in line.. We waiting for the girl to stop sweeping which took her about 3 minutes. When she was done she started putting the broom and dust pan away all slow. Mind you we are still waiting to be helped. As she is hanging the broom and dustpan a group of guys walks in. She comes over and she asked them what they want. At that point we proceed to tell her that we were next . She ignored us and continued to help the group that had just walked in. We had to wait another 5 minutes to be helped. The girl who had gone to the back came back and took our orders. I tried checking for name tags , but saw none on them. The girl who was sweeping and did not help us was the girl with glasses. We were in at about 8 pm on Sept 17 2021. Both my small daughters also asked why she didn't help us when we were next. This michoacana needs better customer service , if they can't provide that , they need a better system instead of placing stickers all...

Yesterday went here with my family. We went to buy some nachos but they didn’t had anymore but instead we got one that had salsa verde. We had asked if we could get extra cheese on the nacho and the girl who attend us said yes. Then we’re going to check out and we saw that she charged the extra cheese for $3!!!?? Like if the cheese was extra why didn’t they let us know before adding it. The manager or the person in charge who I assume. Told and let others know to please let the customer know for the items that are extra charge. We got our money back on that but the other issue we had was after getting some Churritos the girl charged us for $3 dollars but the manager was trying to charge us for $6 when we already had bought it. When we asked for a cup she was trying to charge us $1 for it ? When I wanted it for my son so he can put his chips in it. Honestly during the holidays I see they were trying to get extra bucks for literally anything. I understood it was Mother’s Day but still trying to get extra money for any literally anything. Always check your receipt when buying here if you’re not getting charged for...

It was semi-busy, but the service was nice and helpful when I went. The menu can be a bit busy, so I can see it taking time for people to actually order something which would cause some delays.

Anyways, it's located near the Long Beach Pike Outlets so you can do some shopping or take a stroll over to the Lions Lighthouse a few minutes away and look at the cruise ships passing by.

They have so many flavor options that it was a bit difficult to choose. The main items that they have are ice pops and ice cream, but also have some other novelty drinks. They have some classic flavors as well as many more unique ones such as gummy bears, mangonada, guava and more!

I ended up getting a Strawberry Kiwi Ice Pop and it hit the spot. A lot of flavor and fresh fruit that cost about $3! Not a bad deal at all and perfect for a sunny day!
