I walked a half mile from my house to get a peanut butter smoothie after my workout. When I got there I waited a while at the counter to be greeted, as only one person was working, Regiana. When she was finally able to take my order she said "hold on we have a new system", she fiddled with the computer for several minutes without saying a word. Eventually she said let me try thid & moved over to a 2nd computer, took my order & asked cash or card. After i said card she said it wouldn't work & went back to fiddling with the first computer for several more minutes before she said "let me call someone". She was briefly gone & i heard her talk to no one. She came back & asked if there was anyway i could pay with cash to which my response was "no". At this point a man had been standing behind me in line for most of this & said he had cash so I suggested she take his order first.
Then i inquired what the problem was & she said someone was on break & she didn't want to end their break to log them out & apologized again for not know the system better.
I don't feel she tried very hard to contact her coworker or manager to resolve the issue & wasn't solution oriented. In her situation i would have offered to make the smoothie free of charge considering how long I waited for nothing but frustration.

I'm unsure what is happening at this location, but it is usually always dead when I walk in, but somehow still have to wait for my pre-ordered acai bowl to be made. I can understand chatting with your colleagues, but when you do it so much that your customers have to wait on you there is a problem.
Oh and not to mention that when they do have issues with their soft serve machine or they freeze the acai, no contact or update from the store until you get in to be disappointed to learn that it's either dragonberry or wait longer.
Management really needs to step it up or new management needs to...

In regards to the staff: they are great. They always greet you at the door and I have absolutely no complaints there. In regards to location: I LOVE the fact that they validate parking at the structure right next to the location. That is super super useful because it is hard to find parking anywhere in that part of town. Will I return? Of course. ALready have a number of times so I figured I'd finally rate it.
