Read about The Hawk in the Grunion Gazette and being a fan of cool, different bar's generally, and the Blind Donkey particularly, I had to check the place out. Checked in on Friday afternoon around opening at 4:00 PM and was immediately impressed with the car parking in front of the bar, wide open door, the cool vibe, and tunes, emanating from the space (even as close as it was to just opening for the day) and owner Kyle,s welcoming greeting. Reply, "Get out of here!" and he advanced on me. I leave and say, "I was just asking what type of clientele frequent here, you just answered for me. Thank...
Read moreIn an odd location but that's ok! The drink menu is really impressive, you would not guess they'd have such a unique offering based on the location and exterior. The bartenders are super nice and overall it's a relaxed and friendly environment.... Way better than every single bar on Pine (unless you like dealing with a million annoying wasted people, a**hole bartenders and overpaying for the drinks they take 45 minutes to get you... in which case you would probably prefer the...
