We were walking along the walk of fame when we suddenly heard Turkish music and couldn’t resist stopping. We had been craving döner for a while so we decided to give it a try. At first I was just planning to grab it to go but once I had a bite I couldn’t help myself I had to sit down and finish it all. It was so tasty it instantly reminded me of home in Turkey. The owner kindly offered us tea and that simple gesture made me realize how much I’d missed that warm sense of hospitality.
