My husband worked closely with Dino to make a custom wedding band for me. My husband wanted me to have an eternity band as a wedding band and - call me crazy - I was not thrilled. I personally find eternity bands to be impractical. Also, my engagement ring has prong settings, so I figured that having matching prong settings on an eternity band would be uncomfortable because I would feel the prongs between my fingers. My concerns were affirmed when I tried on eternity bands at the store where my husband purchased my engagement ring. So, my husband set out to find an eternity band that could be worn with my engagement ring and hopefully be comfortable.

My husband found a few online jewelry companies who could custom-make the band, but he wasn't satisfied with any of them for different reasons. One company (Lauren B.) would not provide a warranty on the custom band. Another company said it could do a bezel set eternity band with emerald cut diamonds, but the mock-up design that they sent my husband showed the metal on the band to be super thick. My engagement ring has very little metal (platinum) showing, so I didn't think the two rings would go together. When my husband asked that company if they could make the platinum on the eternity band thinner, they said no because, given the total carat weight that my husband wanted for my wedding band, the metal had to be thick enough to support all of that weight and keep the diamonds secure. That made sense to me, but aesthetically, having a bezel set eternity band with thick metal surrounding each diamond would not work when stacked flush against my engagement ring. Because I wanted my wedding band to sit flush to my engagement ring, Dino offered to create and send a free CAD of the eternity band (made in silver) to our house, so that I could try it on before beginning production on the actual platinum band! I received the CAD about a week later. The day that I received it, I confirmed that it was a perfect fit when stacked with my engagement ring and my husband ordered the custom band that same day. It took less than two weeks to make, and we chose to go to LA to pick it up, in person. We met Dino there; he's super nice!

After we picked it up and returned home, I had the wedding band appraised by the reputable and well-reviewed appraiser here in the Bay Area who had previously appraised my engagement ring for insurance purposes. My eternity band from Diamond Mansion was everything that my husband had paid for, and then some. He custom ordered a platinum eternity band [3.7 mm in width] with 3 carats of natural emerald cut diamonds (color F-G and clarity VS1) in a thin bezel setting. He got all of that, except the appraiser confirmed that the band actually has 3.5 carats of diamonds, not 3.0 carats! She also remarked that the craftsmanship on my wedding band is exquisite, and that she would recommend Diamond Mansion to her LA-based clients who want referrals for a custom jeweler. I'm absolutely thrilled. And, the eternity band is super comfortable (yay!!). I wear it stacked with my engagement ring, separately on my right hand, or by itself on my left hand. It is divine.

He took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for in a setting, double-checked every aspect, sent me videos of potential options, discussed the pros and cons of each, and shared in my joy when I made my decision. I can't express my gratitude for how well we were treated and how perfectly the ring was constructed. The quality far outweighs any jewelry store we visited while shopping around, including some big-name "blue box" stores. I cannot say enough to my positive experience with Diamond Mansion and the service I received from Dino. I was on a tight deadline being I was hoping to purchase an eternity ring for my wife for Christmas. I knew what I wanted and had tried locally here in Texas to achieve my goal. I wasn't getting anywhere and had reached out to a jeweler in Florida who was trying to help but his offer was falling short of my expectations.
