Service is so slow ladies on the food side should focus more on customers rather than having their personal conversations .Nos Vale si las cojieron o no TMI we can hear you. Maybe be more attentive to customers in line so they are not bitchy to you. On the bread side only two cashier's where open one walked away left a line of 5 waiting for 10 minutes not once did the cashier or anyone on the other side told us to come around. Now ordering here is tricky I heard a Mexican man ask for bolio which ok your at a Central American market but whatever. The man helping him understood and he was from Nicaragua. Now my dad asked for pirujo ok that's what he calls it in his country. The Nicaraguan man told him we don't have that here. I'm sorry but if your catering to a Central American population other than Nicaragua n your ass shouldn't be rude cuz he did it on purpose you should respect others culture just how you did to the Mexican man .He knew what my dad was referring to and rudely said pirujos we only call Salvadorans. OMG you should seen the cashier's face anyhow rude. The cashier was a sweetheart wish I...
Read moreThe food was good. It's homemade good, which is what I liked. Me Encanto "lo cacero". I had pupusas, a fried plantain and some squash thing that had a very delicious juice to it and cheese. My sister had a tamal, which she loved and my husband had some pork, que era como adobado, but I'm not sure. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE!!!! ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! !! and it angers me that my own people can be so rude to their own. I asked for 4 extra plates and I swear that lady might as well have eaten me alive. They charge 25 cents for a cup of ice, even though the drink was warm because they didn't put enough ice in it in the first place. They literally took a good 20 minutes to take our order and never acknowledged our presence in the first place; a "we'll be with you in a minute" would have been nice. Y nada de "gracias", muy groceras todas. I think the only reason this place is still opened and in business is because their food is really good and of course they're in LA. I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT GO BACK. La comida esta my rica, pero las miradotas y la groceria de ese lugar me...
Read moreLove Nicaraguan food..this place used to have quality food and price but lately you lucky if get someone to notice you long enough to order. Food is ok but prices are too high for foam plates and plastic forks..for this price go to a place you get served. I bought a Cacao drink for my youngest son and took it home they did have ice so I said is ok. Took it home about 1 hour and half and when I got home opened it up to add ice and when I pull the straw it was gelatin no idea why. But I made a video not sure how to add it here.
This drink now is $8 for large drink., even a large double chocolate chip Frappuccino at Starbucks is $5.75 today is August 8 2023 and not sure why this place still in business but I understand the nostalgic of the old country. It's a mystery why this got gelatin because if this goes bad because cut up like cottage cheese like in the old country. When they use real cacao...
