Great vegan selection!!! They have a whole separate vegan menu of 6 items plus vegan pastries/conchas.

This place is ridiculously cheap! We got a total of 1 vegan breakfast burrito, 1 fried tamales de elote, and 2 conchas. The total was a mere $22! It's for sure an authentic hole-in-the-wall type place that hasn't been gentrified yet.

The breakfast burrito was incredible, but be aware that it is VERY VERY VERY oily. When I opened my togo box, the entire bottom of my burrito was drenched in oil. If you're conscious about your oil intake, I would not recommend the breakfast burrito. Otherwise, eat away. It came with a side of very well-salted potatoes and smooth refried beans.

The tamales were also delicious. My girlfriend, who's been on the search for good vegan tamales, remarked at how she finally found a place where it tastes authentic.

Having said that, I believe I was overcharged just like many others claim in these reviews. The iPad POS system clearly stated that my total was $21.66. But when I handed $22 in cash, I was told that "it is actually $22.66" with no further explanation. I chalked it up to it probably being a mistake or a tax they forgot to include, so I gladly handed over an extra dollar, but upon reading the Yelp reviews, it seems that overcharging unsuspecting customers is something that this business frequently partakes in. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt, but it's hard to label it a coincidence when it seems to be such a common occurrence. It's not the extra dollar I mind, but it's the principle of catching customers off guard with a higher price that doesn't sit right with me.

I gave this place one star, because of the personal there and their actions. The bread is delicious but please people ask for your receipt and double check it. This is not the first time they do this to me, the first time I felt like I was being Overcharged for what I have bought. I did not ask for my receipt because I was in a rush to get to work. But yesterday that I decided to go again and give it another shot, I felt like I was paying way too much again. I had asked for prices before hand and I added what I was buying. Once I paid, I asked the girl to give me my receipt, not only did she give me an ugly look but she gave me attitude and told me to wait, that why didn’t I ask for it when I was paying. So she went to the back upset mumbled something to another girl and then they both came back rolling their eyes and rudely gave me my receipt. Not only were they charging me for two avocados (that I never bought) and it was 10.58, but they had charged me extra bread that I had not taken. Please people ask for your receipt make sure that they are not charging you extra or charging you more for an item that’s less. It’s not ok to steal from people. Review on here convinced me to go I get there very rude cashier!! I when to see their vegan selection of pan dulce there was a small case 24x24 inch case with 3 choices of bread ????
