Desperate for a drop of whiskey, Lost Property was recommended by a local from Hollywood.

Dim lighting was a contrast from the 4PM summer Cali sun. After my eyes adjusted I realized this place is definitely a whiskey bar.

Decorative wood covered the walls and furniture scattered around the cozy establishment. Random vintage clothing are hung around the bar to give the feel of missing items.

They carry whiskey from various parts of the US along with Ireland, Japan and Taiwan. Their selection is strategically described in their menu, which breaks down their choices between flavor profiles - citrus, spicy, smokey, etc.

I ordered the blue sour egg, a spectacle to witness at the bar. Their artfully crafted cocktails went hand in hand with the natural array of add-ons that were kept in glass jars at the bar.

My friend ordered 'Ask the Bartender' when he needed a recommendation. The bar tender made a bubbly concoction with ginger and lemon after my friend described his preference in vodka sodas.

They do serve bar food. You can get full here and you can add salmon, steak, tuna or chicken to salad.

Basically this whole place is customizable to...

Sooooo... we were thirsty and wanted to take our masks off. It was late afternoon and this place was open right off of Hollywood Blvd. touristy area. Before we were allowed in, a guy wearing a mask that did not cover his nose was schooling us on where we had to where a mask inside. But like I said, we were thirsty and the place was not busy (which we liked) so we went in anyway. We ordered 2 beers - the IPA and Lager on tap. As you can see from the photo... which I had yet to take a drink... the Lager was filled up HALF way. Maybe 2/3rds of the way at best. It was so bizarre. I was not in the mood to get into a confrontation, maybe that is how they do it here? The IPA was full up, with a nice head. The guy literally pulling the beer could not have missed that he was giving me a 60% full glass. $16 bucks for them both.

BUT I give them 2 stars because the vibe inside was cool... very airy and plenty of spacing. Clean bathrooms. Obviously we only...

Stopped in here late one night in early December. We were staying at a nearby hotel where nothing was open in the hotel so we went on an adventure and stumbled across this gem. I was absolutely obsessed. They had just decorated for Christmas. We were able to get a delicious pizza before they closed up the kitchen and several amazing cocktails! We even purchased tickets to one of the pop up events, Tinsletown, the staff told us about (which was unfortunately cancelled later on, thanks covid sigh). In any case, it is a great place to grab a drink!! Awesome staff. I hope they do the Christmas thing again. I'd definitely be interested in...
