Mafia Sushi — Restaurant in Los Angeles

We were so excited to see a new sushi spot open up in South Park! We sat at the bar, and Teddy, the sushi chef, totally hooked us up. They pick up their fish daily, so everything is super fresh. They also have ramen and hibachi on the menu, so there’s something for everyone.

We started with the miso soup, which they serve to everyone—it was such a nice touch. We also got a small salad with ginger dressing, and Teddy gave us a little side of their creamy sesame dressing to try. Both were really good!

For sushi, we had the Amazing Roll and the Gentleman Roll—SOOO DELICIOUS, especially if you love fresh, citrusy yuzu/ponzu flavors. We also tried the Godmother Roll, which was perfect if you’re into tempura rolls.

They just got their liquor license and are working on a lunch menu and happy hour specials. We’re so excited to have this spot in the neighborhood! If you’re looking for a chill, casual sushi place with delicious rolls and awesome customer service, Mafia...

I LOVE MAFIA SUSHI! WOW! Where do I begin? Amazing fresh delicious sushi and even more amazing service & helpful genuine smiles! They always let me bring my dog 🐕 and service is wonderful 👍🏻 and the sushi? EVEN BETTER. Eddie also brought out a bowl of water so my doggy baby girl could stay hydrated! I requested 2 raw rolls and specifically asked for best AHI & SALMON rolls Eddie recommended 🍣😍 About 10 minutes later or sooner Eddie brought me 1 Amazing roll and 1 Cadillac roll! OMFG I was instantly happy with my first taste & they were spicy!🙏🏻🐦‍🔥🔥 I was sitting in the sunshine outside with my dog and enjoyed my food so much! I also got the spicy 🫛 edamame. This is an amazing spot and I'm so grateful it's so close to me. Mafia Sushi and Kopan Ramen 🍜 are my top 2 favorite sushi spots so far. Please support this beautiful business! This was another sushi spot that I loved and its replacement is just as excellent.

Their miso soup was excellent, their no rice sushi is also solid, the soft shell crab appetizer was the mental along with the salmon skin salad, the calamari is solid and the yellowtail collar is also excellent. The green tea ice cream was a solid dessert and customer service is excellent. The Guyodon beef is phenomenal also along with their off menu salmon collar!

Their uni sushi was phenomenal along with their sweet shrimp. Both were fresh tasting, high quality and absolutely delicious. Their seared tuna sushi, toro is also very good, probably the best I’ve ever had! Try the “naked” riceless sushi rolls! Also their spicy edemame may be the best version of edemame I’ve ever had!
