ASU FIDM Museum — Attraction in Los Angeles

First time visiting and I was pleasantly pleased. While yes the place is very small, the pieces in this museum were beautiful and intriguing. I felt safe and comfortable while parking in their secured structure as well!

The main thing I appreciated at this museum was the park outside! I didn’t expect to encounter such a peaceful place just outside the museum 🥰

I've made visiting the FREE! Oscar and Emmy nominated FIDM costume exibition a tradition. Get up close and personal to your favorite movie and TV costumes in an elegantly curated space. There is also an informative historic costume display area with revolving shows of vintage/historic clothing, and how they were designed and made. The FIDM Museum has two big exhibits a year: one for the Oscars and one for the Emmys. The museum is pretty small but if you're in the area I highly recommend checking both exhibits out! I am not a movie buff and I barely watch television but I enjoy seeing the artistry of the garments. The museum has a small gift shop but they have some pretty neat stuff there and sometimes have discounts on certain things.
