Response to the Owner: 1. False Advertisement: When I signed up for the class, it was advertised as being an hour long, but it ended 15 minutes early. I’ve attached a screenshot to confirm this. 2. Instructor Concerns: The coach just didn’t invest in us. She was mostly focused on herself, looking herself in the mirror, not checking if we were doing things correctly or safely. It felt like she was going through the motions rather than engaging with the class. Honestly, I could’ve just watched a YouTube video and had a similar experience, if not better. 3. Memberships and Facilities: While I understand you’re proud of what you offer, saying it’s “standard” really sums up how I felt—there’s nothing unique or special here compared to other gyms. And given the pricing, it’s hard to see the value when there are so many other options out there. 4. Lastly, I didn't enjoyed my time with you guys at all, so I don't know where "Jing, I am glad you enjoyed your time with us!" is from. That's why I gave one star with my reasons, so all I see is your response is not genuine and you are not trying to improve AT ALL. I had high hopes for your studio because you are good at advertising it, but this visit didn’t live up to what you promised. I hope this feedback helps make the experience better for others in the future. Old review: I used to love this place—it was supposed to be a welcoming women’s community, promoting comfort and positivity. Unfortunately, it’s no longer the case. First, their memberships are extremely overpriced with unreasonable terms. I attended their Booty Pump class, and it was a disappointing experience. The instructor was demanding and unfriendly, showing no empathy when most people struggled to keep up. Instead of adjusting or offering modifications, she kept pushing us, which felt inconsiderate. To make matters worse, the class ended 15 minutes early—that’s 25% of the value gone. On top of that, their main focus seems to be pressuring you into signing up for memberships. Even when the manager/owner tried to get personal, it ultimately turned into a hard sell. The moment I declined, their attitude shifted—they became cold and dismissive. I wouldn’t recommend this place and won’t be coming back.

I had a few classes with the studio and planned to continue going a few times a month to their High Heels class. The teacher is amazing. Rosey is very sweet. But can’t say the same about the management unfortunately. I booked their “Intro-offer” buy 2 get 3. Before buying, I double checked with them if I can do it even if the system allows me, because I wished to be 100% honest. I had 1 or 2 classes with them before but through ClassPass. They said yes. BUT. It was never mentioned that it will expire in 14 days. Not in the app, not in the messages. I reached them out and they just said I supposed to know that and the app gives that information. I registered another account exceptionally in the sake of checking that and I was right. No information about expiration date while you are buying a product and then AFTER you buy it, you see it. It’s definitely not how any business should work like. From consumer protection laws side, the fair treatment of consumers has to be insured, including transparency about the terms and conditions of purchases. In this case, it’s misrepresentation. If I buy something through the app, I don’t have to go to the website to see the terms and conditions unless it’s stated there while purchasing. I showed that video screen to the management and they sent me the receipt, ignoring the fact that I sent them a video screen where it’s clear that there is no expiration date BEFORE you buy it. I could but I don’t wish to bring it up to authorities that protect the consumer. I wished to enjoy the classes. I bring it up here so the management maybe changed their way of treating their clients and try to understand the situation where they are not right even if they just forgot to mention to the app developers that there have to be expiration terms BEFORE people buy a product. Of course, I don’t want to continue going to the studio after this kind of situation. Very sad

I have been coming to bellatec for just shy of a year. I signed up specifically for the high heels class and was hooked right away. Slowly, I started to try more and more class that were outside my comfort zone. Now, you'll find me here most days out of the week. What I like about this studio is the variety of classes. There's something for every fitness level. Everyone that I have met here has been kind and encouraging. I look forward to seeing the girls every week and that is something I have never experienced at any other gym or studio. If you're local to the area, I would highly recommend a membership here.

I’m currently a member at BellaTec, and it makes me sad to write this review. I truly see the potential this gym has. Some instructors and front desk staff are welcoming, but others can be difficult to talk to. Despite this, I was still finding my way and enjoying the gym.

I first joined in 2024 and upgraded to the Elite Pass in March 2025. The upgrade was sold to me with the promise of unlimited classes, guest passes, and parking included. For anyone living in DTLA, you know parking is hard to find, and meter parking can cost $5–$20.

That’s why I was shocked when the administration gave no proper notice, only telling Elite members in the last two days of July, that due to new ownership, the parking policy would change starting August 1. Now, if you take more than one class a day, you must pay an extra $5 for the parking lot. This was never disclosed when I signed up. At sign-up, they made it seem like parking was guaranteed. They also didn’t explain that the owner could change the parking rules at any time.

When I emailed for my signed contract, I found that it only says parking details are disclosed to members, but no clear policy was given. When I asked for more details, I was told to check “sections 7 and 3” of the terms and conditions. The problem? The website’s terms aren’t organized by sections, just long paragraphs, so I couldn’t find what they referred to. My follow-up questions were ignored, and I was simply told again to “check the terms and conditions.”

Another issue: if you cancel an Elite membership, you still have to pay two more months and only get 31 days to use the facility. Keep in mind, the Elite membership is up to $200 a month.

I feel the new parking rule is unfair, especially since Elite members who take multiple classes daily are now being charged more. The new policy gives one hour of free parking; if you take a second class, it’s $5 extra; a third class is $10 extra. In this economy, it feels like the gym is taking more from members than giving.

Now, I’m honestly nervous to go back, worried that the owner or staff might treat me differently for speaking up. My advice: read any contract very carefully before signing, and don’t let them pressure you into purchasing a membership.

This gym gives mixed emotions, some instructors truly care about your well-being and helping you meet your goals, and some reception staff are kind and helpful. But there are also certain instructors and staff who can feel cliquish or give off “high...

If you're considering a membership - just do it. I LOVE working out at bellaTec. Would give 1000 stars if I could. I used to take some of their classes through classpass, but after just a few classes I knew I wanted to join their membership. I've been signed up for a little over a month now and cannot say enough great things, I have 0 regrets. The space is so clean, well organized, the staff is SO FRIENDLY and helpful. The best energy out of any fitness studio I've ever stepped foot in.

Siranush's "Best Stretch Ever" class puts me in positions I would have never thought to do myself and it's so rewarding to surprise myself with my own abilities!! Love her mat Pilates classes too, I'm addicted. Just in the past month of working out here I already feel 5x stronger. I love Pearrie's barre classes, you can REALLY feel the muscles getting sculpted! Sarabeth's ballet class on Saturday morning always leaves me sore in the best way, and it's so fun to get back into dance. Afarin's reformer Pilates classes are great for anyone getting started on the machine, beginner friendly but still challenging! I would opt for Lauren's reformer classes if you're looking for something more difficult but still fun. I just took a "curls and crunches" class with Esmee and loved it- she's got great music, instruction, and the sets/breaks are timed perfectly so you don't feel overworked.

Mat pilates, reformer pilates, HIIT, barre, weightlifting, dance, spin classes, nutrition guidance - you name it, they have it. There's options for everyone, available at any time. The membership is so affordable and worth every penny, I recommend it to anyone that will listen!! They're constantly hosting fun events with great vendors and they really do a solid job of fostering a strong sense of community. Kay, Carabella (the owner), Kaylee, Claire, basically every single person at the front desk is a complete doll and truly such a pleasure. Tried to write in every name that I could remember, forgive me if anyone got left off, you guys are the BEST!! Huge thank you to EVERY SINGLE staff member for creating such a fun and welcoming space for the girlies!...
