Musso & Frank Grill — Restaurant in Los Angeles

We Went for a walk on the Stars, that lead us to Musso & Frank Grill. They welcomed us in and sat us in a New Room Grand Private Room. The Staff, dressed in Classic red & green attie were really quite nice! The New room reminded me of The Haunted mansion At Disneyland. A hand painted Countryside boarder, with Chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. Absolutely loved it. Very Nice! Enjoyed that it was quiet and a calm environment 😌 in the section we were at. I could enjoy food away from the higher volume crowd. For drinks they have a beautiful wine list. But we decided to go hard and order the Cherry Coke. Ohhh... i loved the Cherry coke. 😅🤣 Such a treat to see cherries in my cup. 🍒 For dinner We ordered The Spinach Ravioli, Potatos Au Gratin, And Turkey A La King. 🤴

I must say, all three were very flavorful. If i had a 2nd go at it I'd definitely try the Mushrooms. The mushrooms in the turkey a la king were Spectacular! Spinach Ravioli were toppd with fresh Parmesan. 😋 Really loved that the food came with Bread!! Oh man the bread n butter, SO tasty!! They are Known for the Best steak in town 😋 😉 👌 And did i mention the best side dishes and appetizers? When they said if i wanted to take it home, that was an instant YES! 🍞 🥪 🥖 🥐 🍞 🥪 The staff was so nice to us. Food came fast! And over all i loved how they were ready to help us With dessert options. We chose the New York Cheese Cake.🥲 so soft and Filling. Loved everything 100% I accidentally spilled a bit of sauce and Potato Au Gratin on the table cloth infront of my fiance 😬😔😒. Our waiter was kind enough to casually pick the bit up with a butter knife off the table 😀 😉 😋 😜 Made me feel less embarrassed. 😀 Thank you!

The bathroom was a very clean one. Its A single ladies/mens room,with two chairs in it.

There is Much Art & a bit of Musso & Frank history on the walls. This is the perfect place to doll up in a Vintage styled outfit & have a night of Great dining.

Wrapping up our Southwest Grand Circle hiking adventures, we made our way to a true Los Angeles icon for a well-deserved birthday celebration — Musso & Frank Grill. Stepping into this storied institution, which has graced Hollywood Boulevard since 1919, felt like entering a golden-age time capsule. The wood-paneled walls, red leather booths, and waistcoated servers whisper tales of a bygone era, where legends like Charlie Chaplin and Marilyn Monroe once raised their glasses.

​This establishment has long been a magnet for Hollywood's elite, and its allure continues to captivate modern film stars. Among the notable figures who have dined there in recent years are Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, George Clooney, Johnny Depp, and Harrison Ford. Quentin Tarantino, a frequent patron, chose the restaurant as a filming location for his 2019 movie Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, featuring DiCaprio, Pitt, and Al Pacino sharing drinks at its iconic bar.

The menu is a tribute to timeless indulgence. Musso’s legendary Roast Beef of Prime Rib lived up to every bit of its reputation — perfectly rosy and succulent, served on a bed of romantic beef jus, it speaks to a century of tradition. The Garlic Chicken, another house favourite, arrived fragrant and crackling, the meat tender beneath its golden skin, elevated by the molten and pleasantly pungent bulbs.

We couldn’t resist venturing into their Italian classics either. The Spaghetti Pomodoro, twirled elegantly and crowned with a luscious orb of burrata, offered a perfect balance of bright tomato sweetness and creamy richness. And the Spicy Vodka Rigatoni was an absolute standout: the sauce silky and just fiery enough to keep us reaching for another al dente bite — it was so addictive that we had seconds. . Dining at Musso & Frank was more than just a meal; it was a celebration of history, flavour, and memories made. After days of dust and trail, it felt right to end our journey in a place that has stood, unwavering, through Hollywood’s many seasons. My spouse and I decided to have our 9th wedding anniversary dinner at Musso & Frank Grill last night. I must say. Both of us have never felt to have been treated with so much respect and dignity and class at this evening as at this wonderful restaurant. From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed. We were a bit early. The gentleman sitting by the entrance greeted us friendly told us not to worry. It will only be a view more minutes and we will be seated at our table. The place was quite busy. Not long after that. I heard my name being called out by him. We were sitting nearby on a comfortable cushioned bench waiting. He handed me an envelope and said this is for us two. We were a bit startled, but I thanked him. A few seconds later we were walked to our table by a very polite gentleman in a grey suit and seated. While we were waiting for someone to come over for us to order some drinks, we opened the envelope and to our total surprise there was a very classy but kind card congratulating us to our 9th wedding anniversary. (When I made the reservation, I did mention that the dinner was an anniversary dinner). I must say, both of us were quite taken by this kind and truly special gesture. When the waiter came, we ordered our drinks. Of course, superior service. Then it was time to order our food. My spouse and I each had a tomato and onion salad. We loved it. The vinaigrette, which was quite unique, I just loved. My spouse had Linguini with tomato basil sauce, and I had the pleasure of prime rib of beef with a baked potato and creamed spinach. Which was just amazing. After that when we ordered a cup of coffee and tea, the very friendly and kind waiter surprised us with a free vegan ice cream for my spouse and a regular brownie for me. Again, we thought it was so thoughtful. The whole evening, food, service, special treatments. All was so memorable and special. We cannot wait to come back, enjoy their wonderful food and service.
