A Fantastic Dining Experience at Nick The Greek

Today, I finally took the time to stop by Nick The Greek, a restaurant I've noticed a few times while driving by. I’m so glad I did because the experience was exceptional from start to finish.

As soon as I entered, I felt welcomed right away. Juliana, the staff member who greeted me with a warm smile, instantly set a positive tone. She took my order and thoughtfully asked if I’d like something to drink. Although I initially declined, she kindly mentioned that if I changed my mind, I could let her know anytime. She even offered me some water without hesitation.

After placing my order, I sat down, and within just a few minutes, my food was ready. Not only was it quick, but Juliana personally brought the plate to my table and checked if I needed anything else. The food itself was delicious—warm, flavorful, and generous in portion size. The prices are very reasonable for what you get.

What truly elevated the experience was the authentic atmosphere. The light, traditional Greek music playing in the background made me feel like I was in Greece. I wasn’t expecting such attention to detail, but it really made the dining experience special.

I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy a great meal in a friendly environment. I’d like to give a special shoutout to Juliana, whose friendly attitude and outstanding service made this visit memorable. She went above and beyond to make sure I was happy as a customer, and thanks to her, I’ll definitely be returning. I’m sure I’ll become a regular at this spot!

I’ve loved long enough in the area to see quite a few different restaurants in this spot… and nothing made me happier when I saw the sign that Nick the Greek was opening. I have been to the location near the UCLA hospital in Westwood and always would stop by if I’m in the area. The food is so good, fresh, and bursting with flavor!

I got a bowl (pork belly) The portions are big enough to share so it’s definitely a great value!

When I walked in this new location on Le Brea and sunset… I was so happy. I was greeted with the friendliest “hi, welcome”! The young man who took my order smiled at me and just made the whole experience so much better. All the staff working here are lovely!

Parking is stupid in This little plaza, always has been, but not the worst. I don’t blame the restaurant for that… If you’re lucky you’ll catch someone leaving. I would park across the street on the big plaza (where Wendy’s is) and walk here if I couldn’t...

I just ordered. There was a deal that said buy 1 get one free. So I bought one. I only received one item and allegedly their policy is that you must pick two on the app to get one of them for free but at the order summary page it still showed what the price would have been without the promotional offer which implies I am getting the deal even though I picked one. This is possibly by design and I feel very cheated. I asked Uber Eats if I can drive to the restaurant and pick my second one up and they said no. The restaurant did not answer the phone after multiple tries. Again, on the order summary page it showed what the price would have been if I had ordered without the promotional deal. This is trickery at its best. The food was very good but not at the price point it was without the promotional offer which turned out not to be real in this case.
