I had an amazing experience at Venice Beach Wines! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel so welcome. The staff was friendly, attentive, and you could tell they really love what they do.

We ordered a charcuterie board, cheesy stuffed peppers, hanger steak, and the VBW salad — everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were on point, and you can tell they use really high-quality ingredients and put a lot of care into each dish.

We went with two bottles of Topette Sauvignon Blanc, which paired great with the food and made the whole night even better. The vibe inside was exactly what you want in a wine bar: cozy, laid-back, and stylish, with amazing energy.

We want to support local restaurants during this crisis. It is a difficult time and we thought we would order in an effort to help small businesses. Big mistake! They advertise ‘discounts’ etc., yet still our salad and hangar steak cost $70. That was not a big deal until I opened the “hanger steak”. It was the most pitiful piece of meat I have sen I years. If I had been bbq’ for at home it would have gone to the dog. It was burnt, dry and less then 2.5oz. I have seriously never seen a more pathetic example of delivery BS in my life. I took a pic but there is no option to post. Too bad because If you saw this there is no way you would order. Left a VM (only option when you call) - of course...

Came here for wine tasting. They had a flight of selected wines that you can order. 4/5 of the wines were really good. We also ordered the grill steak with salad and grill veggies and that was very good. The carrots though seemed from a bag already cut not the best. I prefer the real carrots cut into pieces and grilled. I felt that the carrots they had were the ones you serve at a school lunch. Not as fancy for a winery. Other than that the place was very cozy in a fun location off Rose avenue. Dim lighting and you can sit outside. They have heat lamps which was nice.
