I decided to check this place out after being mentioned on the YouTube show "Worth It". Great price point for the items they sell. What we got was two cheeseburgers, three chicken sandwiches, single order of fries, a can of soda, and an ice cream sandwhich. The total came to around $40ish with a %10 tip. That's a steal IMO. The chicken sandwhich was delicious. Is it the best? No. The flavor of the chicken was pretty standard. It was also crunchy so that was a good thing. It came with slaw and pickles that were both flavorful. It had some sort of yellowish sauce which was okay to me but it didn't have the flavor profile that I like. The buns was the highlight, I think they used potato rolls because it was so soft and chewy... basically heaven in your mouth. The cheeseburger was pretty basic. They grilled it well done with sauted onions on the bottom and melted American cheese on top. The same type of potato buns was also used. The cheeseburger was not bad but it wasn't great. The fries were pretty good. Crunchy and it reminds me of in n out style fries. They have a ketchup station as well if you decide to eat it with ketchup. The main highlight of this eating establishment is the ice cream sandwhich! Yummy yummy yummy. They actually purchase it from a San Francisco company. The ice cream consisted of two oatmeal cookies and in-between was vanilla ice cream then the whole sandwich was covered with a thin layer of chocolate.
Will I go back to this place? Only if I was on a budget and want something good enough to satisfy to my hunger. Also, if I am ever around the area sure. You can't beat the price for what they serve. Coming in, I wasn't expecting the best sandwhich ever given the price point. However, I didn't like the sitting area. There was just a bunch of stools around in a parking lot. It's better if you eat...
Read moreCame here in December 2022 with a large party of 16 for an office team dinner. From the point of inquiry to the dinner and moment we walked out the team at American Beauty was so accommodating and easy to work with. Due to the size of the party a prefix menu was needed. I went with the 4 course meal that was family style for our group. The choices we made were the Wood Grilled Flat Bread w/ smoked honey, labneh; Grilled Prawns in herb butter, lemon; Chopped Vegetable Salad w/ spicy vinaigrette; Pasture Bird ½ Chicken asado rub, spring onion, weiser potatoes; Santa Carota Grass Fed NY Strip Steak; Stuffed Hashbrown w/ melted onion, sour cream; Roasted Carrots w/ pickled cherries, garlic yogurt; and Burnt Cheesecake w/ candied lemon. We also ordered a few things off of the regular menu like the ceviche and burrata which made great additions (especially all of the sides) as well as plenty of cocktails which were all great and our waiter (Jose) also made suggestions and recommendations of what to get to drink and what types of liquor to swap out in the featured cocktails. All the food and drinks were so delicious no to mention the A++ service. The group favorites were the flat bread, hash brown, ceviche, and carrots if we had to pick a few. The only thing that wasn’t a crowd favorite was the mac and cheese but ultimately everyone enjoyed everything and we’re still talking about this dinner. The outdoor patio was perfect. People needed to take their jackets off or we asked for the heaters to be lowered in the colder LA temps. It was an overall great vibe and ambiance. I’d come back here with a small group just for drinks by one of their fires and go try the window along with the rest of the menu. Can’t recommend American...

I don’t know what to say about the service. We came at prime time on a Tuesday night and the hostess tried to seat us at a remote two top. I asked for a four top and she was like “yeah of course it’s not going to fill up”. So why not just start at a table that’s large enough for a proper meal? In fact, why have cocktail sized tables at a restaurant that encourages family style dining?
Our drinks took a bit longer than 20 minutes - I suspect our server was new because he also took 10 minutes to bring us our ticket - he charged ours to the wrong table. This would be incredibly annoying if he wasn’t delightful, ever-smiling, and clearly in love with the menu. I’d say the drinks were worth the wait because they were exceptionally good, but no drink is worth that wait for me.
My filet was very salty and they missed the mark on the temperature, but it was good enough. I would eat there again but I’m not sure what I’d order. The herb salad was divine.
Ribs were very good and the stuffed hash browns are what dreams are made of. The carrots were fantastic too.
Our dinner was just shy of two hours long and we didn’t order any appetizers, so we skipped dessert.
I also would love to have a nice crusty bread whenever there’s steak in the menu. Maybe I’ll smuggle in a hunk of baguette from Breadbar and try a different cut of meat. 🤫they’ll never know…
It is so close to perfect here. I think we had an off night....
