Ice&Cream Creamery — Restaurant in Madeira Beach

I was excited to take my mom to this specific ice cream place. Drove 22 min from inland as I'm a local - my mom is visiting from WI. As we approached the establishment it looked as though both employees were outside, smoking, and the entire scene was weirdly unwelcoming. Right next door was another ice cream place that seemed clean and welcoming, so we ended up going there although missing out on your awesome flavor selection. After eating at the other place we walked back to find employee, and what we realized was just one of his friends, still outside smoking 20 minutes after. Your location had visibly interested customers and the worker very clearly was annoyed he finally had to get up and go inside. It was very....weird. as a business owner I'd want to know my employee(s) is turning off customers and seeming to not want...

We stopped in for ice cream cones. It was hot inside the building, nothing like you would expect an ice cream shop to be. The red head guy behind the counter had a toothpick in his mouth the whole time we were there. He would barely speak to us when we ordered. Our ice cream was so melted that it was dripping off the cones immediately when he made them. I went to pay with my credit card. He told me the total was $21. I gave him the card. I asked for a receipt. It wasn’t until later that evening that I looked at the receipt and realized he gave himself a $3.20 tip. I wouldn’t have minded giving a tip if the service was good and the Ice cream was hard. He did not deserve a tip with his poor attitude. This milkshake did not bring all the boys to the yard. My wife and I were looking forward to a cool treat on a hot October day after a long walk on the beach and were very disappointed. We each ordered two chocolate fudge brownie milkshakes since the chocolate fudge brownie ice cream in the freezer display looked awesome. Imagine our surprise when we observed our milkshakes being made with vanilla soft serve, milk and chocolate fudge syrup. We took a couple sips of each and promptly tossed them in the trash on the way out the door after paying. They were horrible. I'm not sure why you would sell fresh made ice cream by the scoop but wouldn't use the same ice cream to make milkshakes.
