Meh, I dunno. We really looked forward to this place... BUT, maybe our expectations were a bit too high. Staff can’t be bothered to acknowledge you went you stand there looking for where to go as you walk in, not to MENTION seat you. (Not a great start) While we listened to the great live music, would have loved to not go up to the bar to get my own water... again, still can’t be bothered to acknowledge us, after we sat & cleaned our own table. And if you think this place is “dog friendly” (one of the main reasons we went), no. They *tolerate* dogs. THAT’S IT. Fish dip took over 30 minutes to come out & then our entrees came out 45 seconds later. Not what the point of ordering an appetizer was. Server never checked on us once. Had to literally follow him around the place asking for our change. We gave him $100 bill for a $40 lunch & he thought we didn’t want change...???? Not awesome. PS. Most importantly, I suppose; the food. Not even close to worth the hassle. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Service ruined it for us.

On a Thursday night the wait elsewhere for a table of 7 was too long so we walked down the road to BBB and sat right down. The singer was preparing to go on stage but spent some time talking to us and playing with our grandkids, neither of which they had to do. It was very welcoming. Sarah waited on us and was the right kid of there and not-in-the-way. A bucket of beers supposedly got us 5 for 4, but best of all came with lots of ice! I liked the fish dip and my wife's burger was fantastic. The kid's fish was delicious and way too big. Two of them ate it with some help from dad. Hard to believe they are cooking it all in essentially a small food truck! I was concerned that there wouldn't be a breeze as it was really hot outside but they thankfully had a couple large fans that did a great job. I can't wait for our house to finish building so we can visit more often.

Great atmosphere, food, service, and live music. Open air tiki themed bar and restaurant. It is at the end of the strip of shops/restaurants (or beginning depending on which direction you come from). The night that we dined, they had fresh mahi mahi and gulf shrimp. I had the shrimp and they offered them grilled, blackened, fried, or boiled. I chose grilled and had them as shrimp tacos rather than as the dinner. They were served with a mango salsa and were delicious. The musician played guitar and sang along with a backing track that made it seem like it was a full band. His name was John Dower I think and he was really good. He played a variety of songs from many genres and the crowd really enjoyed his music. I highly recommend this place!

I'm really sad to write this but we tried to give this place a 2nd chance and it was just so disappointing. To be honest with you I never like to throw this card out there but there was nothing else that I could possibly attribute to the service or should I say lack of service we recieved not ONCE but TWICE. The first night I came here with my boyfriend my brother and his wife, stood under the sign that said order here and the bartender completely ignored us for 3 solid minutes while counting her money and said " I just started its gonna be a while" and i was taken back as someone that's been a server and bartender for almost 15 years I get it, but the ignoring is insane, you acknowledge people say, hey folks I need to finish this up here is a menu I'll be with you asap. So I said ok well try the other bartender thanks, the other bartender was slammed so we said nevermind well just wait with the first bartender, so when we turned around the same bartender that said she was too busy for us was serving four white ladies. And mind you I'm only saying this because man I HATE to think racism has anything to do with it but i have nothing else to point to. People left and right to us were getting service and we eventually got a drink but we were uncomfortable paid and left after one drink. We paid for a baby sitter so we were trying to have a good night with food and drinks close to our hotel. We left to another bar.

Next night we came about 830, with our kids to have dinner and drinks we said we'll give it another shot. We asked a nice server if there is servers out at the far tables and she said yes. We sat, about 8 of us. A couple with dogs sat next to us at the same time. They were greeted, we were not acknowledged not even eye contact. We went to the outside bar after waiting 10 min and still no one. Having hungry kids we wanted to get food, 10 more min nothing. We decided to order pizza from next door and bring it over. When I got back with the pizza NO ONE HAD ACKNOWLEDGED our table yet. People next to us had food and drinks. I go up to the same girl again I believe Sierra and I'm like this is ridiculous it's been 30 min. And she's like omg I'm so sorry I'll tell him and by this point I'm pissed. She proceeds to take care of us ( and she is lovely the ONLY saving part of the whole ordeal) takes our drink and app order and has everything out fast.) Then the guy server in the hat finally asks if we need anything when the lady server is taking care of us. Respectfully I said no thank you but I will say, being the only Hispanic people at the place it SURE felt wierd and off putting and on purpose on not one but two occasions. I have never written such a long review but man it took me alot to let all this but if it stops another group of people from feeling uncomfortable I have done my part. We went to saltwater hippie and happily spent our money on great bar service and...

The good: server was friendly, drinks were good The bad: music (guy playing guitar) was pretty loud for as empty as the place was. I could barely hear my date. We're late 20s/early 30s, so it's not like we are 90 and couldn't hear. There was some sort of funky garbage smell. Maybe the dumpster was just on the other side of the fence? Not what you want to smell while out to eat. The ugly: The food. The server started by saying they just redid the kitchen and the fryer wasn't working, so they didn't have half of what was on the menu. She said no coconut shrimp, so I asked if I could just get the shrimp grilled or blackened. Nope, they only had chicken, steak, and fish. The restaurant is across the street from the beach, next door to John's Pass and what was the fish? Swai. She made it sound like it was some gourmet fish, but swai is the stuff you get frozen from Vietnamese rivers at Walmart for about $5 for 10 pounds. This is Florida on the Gulf Coast and the only fish they have is swai. My date got fries, they came out cold. He asked that they make a fresh batch. While they came out piping hot, they tasted like stale cardboard. These were fries that clearly came frozen that probably came from the same place as the swai. I'm so glad I forgot to order my own fries (they don't come with the sandwiches, those cardboard fries are $1.99 extra). I live less than 2 miles down the road in Treasure Island, I won't ever come back. I strongly suggest those looking for good food (especially seafood) go...

Went there with my family! Us and several of the other customers had people that were there way after us served before us after we were seated. Our meals came out completely wrong and over cooked. The best part of our trip there was the Very sweet man who brought out our orders from the kitchen. When we tried to talk to our waitress ( the wanna be hippie old washed up waitress) about it she was extremely rude and ridiculed me to other waitresses in front of my family. I tried to be really polite to her and really sweet but she was very rude. Instead of giving us the customers the Courtesy to listen to us and any kind of apology for being unsatisfied she was just a caddy gossipy waitress that ridiculed us to others. How embarrassing. As a customer who’s The business forever that it was totally the wrong way to handle that. Customer satisfaction has everything and we were very easy customers to get along with she just does not want to be wrong. I’m sorry were busy and our orders came out wrong and the service was terrible because you only checked on us one time and had three different other ladies come check on us… That is not good customer service and the food was terrible… Honestly I do not recommend this place but the entertainment was good… This is sad because I live near the beach and I always wanted to try it and when I did I was highly...
