If you care about safe food and safe food handling don't eat here. Scroll down farther for a further explanation. I've left a survey through McDonald's survey program. I hope it fixes everything wrong that I've experienced at this location but I doubt this is the case. I've worked at a McDonald's for 3 years and have experience leading in the back of the kitchen there. Unfortunately it is safe to say that after watching training videos- most of the training expectations often are ignored and seemingly are chucked out of the window. Today I went to get 2 McChickens and a small nugget happy meal for my girlfriend. Simple order? You'd think. I'd think so. Even with having to cook the chicken fresh this should be a quick 7 minutes for my food. 20 minutes later- after standing at the counter for 10 mins and not being acknowledged by staff was our food carelessly thrown into a box and a bag. Staff never spoke to us-rather they simply yelled at each other while a handful left the back to take a break or presumably get off shift. The lobby was horrendously messy- the drink counter was covered in old soda while half of the lids were completely ran out. Ketchup was all over the place on the counter and the tea was out. Health Code Concerns: I've worked in food service since 2012 and understand what it is like to work behind the counter. However, being busy is not an excuse to ignore blatant food safety. If you don't mind bare hand to hand contact with food- eat here. I saw several employees banter and come in contact with other employees and then touch food being served out the window. If you don't mind lack of hair restraints- also eat there. I saw a handful (of the gloveless hand group) of employees not rocking any form of hats or hair protection. The managers didn't say anything to their crew about the lack of food safety equipment which is something that is certainly covered in swing manager training. The scariest part about these health code violations is that the leadership didn't seem to care and acted like this was the normal. Long and short of my visit: Insanely unclean environment-both in the lobby and in the kitchen. Terrible wait times for food. Non-caring staff even through management. Abounding with health code violations. I know this is fast food but I'd be worried about the safety of my food if I came here again. I know sometimes its best to grab something quick and easy but this place could leave you...
Read moreI went through the drive-thru this evening and ordered a ranch chicken wrap with a cup of ranch â and I paid the extra $0.20 for it, no problem at all. Ordering and paying went smoothly. The issue started at the pickup window, where Kat (or Cat) was working.
After being handed my food, I asked if the ranch cup was in the bag. She said yes. I checked before driving off â no ranch cup. I let her know, and she walked off briefly, came back, and looked like she wanted to check the bag herself. I told her again it wasnât in there and even took everything out and held the bag upside down so she could see for herself.
Instead of simply fixing the issue, she told me, âYou donât have to shake the bag at me like that.â Excuse me? I wasnât âshakingâ anything â I was showing her the bag was empty, because I paid for that ranch and it wasnât there. Why would I lie over a $0.20 cup of ranch?
We ended up going back and forth about it, and honestly, itâs ridiculous. From what Iâve read in other reviews, it seems professionalism is not a strong point at this location â and this interaction just confirmed it for me.
Arguing with a customer over a missing ranch cup, especially when it couldâve been handled in two seconds with basic courtesy, is wild. Let me just say this: if you come at me sideways, Iâm going to meet that energy. I wonât tolerate being disrespected â especially not over something I paid for.
Message to staff: Watch how you talk to people. The next person might not respond the...
Read moreIf i can give half a star just for getting my food, I would. They think that because people order drive through that they can get away with skimping on food quality. I ordered 2 large fries and they were both only halfway filled. Another time i ordered to go in-store but they did not have to have the apple pie so they told me that i had to wait about 10 minutes which I didn't really mind because I was craving for their pastry. Along with the apple pie I ordered fries and 2 sundaes. My order arrives. 2 hot apple pies, fresh from the oven/fryer or whatever they cook it in, fries were luke warm only because I told them not to pack it until the apple pies are ready (i bet it would've been stone cold had I not put that request in), and a caramel and a hot fudge sundaes extremely melted because it was sitting on the counter the entire time the apple pies were cooking. Come on. I know it's McDonald's and I shouldn't be expecting five star food and service, but really? Liquid sundae? Management needs to get their people together and teach them the importance of respecting the customer and the food. I know it's fast food, but people still pay money for it! Some people get out of work exhausted not having anymore time nor energy to cook that's why they go to your store. Then you serve them with sub-par quality food?...
