Marzano's Pizza Pie — Restaurant in Manzanita

Saturday night. Pizza spot has tasty looking pies and hours posted online and out front say open till 8. Arrived and got in line. Only 1 line of customers, some waiting to order, some picking up orders. Looks busy and tasty. After 20 min in line, pizza man speaking to guests in front of me yells lightly through window "we are backed up too much past closing, not going to take any more orders". Guests in front of me depart with their tasty pies. I approach pizza man, I ask if he will take my order, I explain I've been in line 20 mins, I arrived at 7:10, it's now 7:30, your sign says open till 8. Pizza man says "no, we are not taking more orders we are busy till past our closing". I say again "sign says open till 8 on Saturday, I arrived 7:10, you are really not going to take my order?". His answer " no, we are too busy". No last call, no I'll take the orders of the people in line now, no nothin. So I left, with no tasty pies and thus I leave this for Marzano's, I hope it's as tasty as the pies I saw walking by. Maybe try the last call approach next time instead of the you're...

MY LORD!!!! Where do I start. Let’s go with Custom Service because my family might find the best meal on the earth, but if the Customer Service is bad (swearing would be offensive to some). ~ We’ve been here once before and THOUGHT we’d be forever customers. NOT A CHANCE NOW. As I said before, the management here made me actually cringe!! I actually laughed. ABSOLUTELY NO MANAGEMENT KNOWLEDGE OR TRAINING. Yuk! That’s how I felt after I complained about THEIR PIZZA WE ACTUALLY THREW AWAY. If you prefer not to be sent to the hospital with food poisoning I MEAN THIS..please don’t waste your precious time. I HAD TO TAKE A SHOWER BECAUSE OF THE SOGGY PIZZA, but because of the the manager in. HE WAS A CHILD MENTALITY. Defending their mistakes. Ugh… But good news..I’m here with my family at the beach eating Lucky Charms. Pizzas good. The crust was excellent. The Italian sausage was bland and our pizza had barely any pizza sauce. They don’t have jalapeño- which seems strange.

What really annoyed us - It’s an insult to charge nearly $10 for a handful of romaine lettuce and call it a Caesar salad. No croutons, no Parmesan cheese. Bizarre. The dressing was as expected, good. Sadly, though - If you can’t make an effort and add the bare minimum of 3 ingredients to the salad, don’t offer it. (See Caesar salad ingredients 👇 below.)

Save your hard-earned money - don’t buy the Caesar, bc before drinks, a small sausage pizza (~$19) and a handful of lettuce ($10) will run you over $30 w/ tax and tip.😒 reasonable for Seattle, not Manzanita.
