I just witnessed the nastiest interaction with a food order from a Starbucks Manager in Anne Arundel County, MD at approximately 11am today. So I visited the Hanover, MD location and walked inside to grab a quick coffee & breakfast wrap. As I was waiting for my order, a customer entered with her sandwich in hand and spoke to the manager about her sandwich ordered on the app.
She said that it was incorrect and he then took the sandwich and placed it on the counter where other outgoing orders were being placed. He continued to fill other orders and disregarded the returned food that he accepted. Then about 3 minutes later, another worker grabbed the returned sandwich and took it to the drive though and placed it next to the register.
I could not look away at what I just witnessed. I then asked the male was he the Manager at which time he stated yes and I then asked him if this behavior was their policy. I told him that I saw him take the sandwich from the customer who returned it, then he lay it on the counter and the next worker take it over to drive through.....he said to me, "Oh, thank you for letting me know"......
That's enough "Meh" for me for one day....he doesn't need to service the public anymore and that location needs a health inspector!!

Read moreTerrible terrible customer service. This is extremely unfortunate for this popular location. I was in the drive through for 35 mins just to get to the window after requesting that my Matcha Latte be diluted with a small amount of hot water, (so that I’m not drinking clumps of match powder at the bottom of my drink) and the young woman in the window proceeded to argue with me about how that’s not the correct way to make the drink, it’s her know that I didn’t need her to explain it to me how THEY make it but to simply make it the way I requested. I requested to speak to her manager, she had such a bad attitude, after she shut the window I could clearly hear her yelling to her co-workers about me and the way I ordered my drink. She was extremely unprofessional and I can see why the only job she could possibly get was at Starbucks. She had no class, was clearly underpaid and over worked by her ratchet attitude and just an over all mess, her lack of emotional control was quite embarrassing to say the least, and maybe should consider therapy for whatever is going on in her life to cause her to behave in such an uncouth manner. As a manager in the service industry for over 15 years….this was alarming...
Read morei go here regularly in the morning due to its close proximity to my work. the last couple weeks, the espresso has been absolutely disgusting. you can tell the machine isnt being rinsed or cleaned in between cups because the coffee is being burnt. my cups are not anywhere close to being full anymore and most of the staff has horrible attitudes. there are a few that are great but i never know what time is a good time to go anymore. i know i can always ask for my drink to be remade, but they generally behave unprofessionally when you request a remake. i wont be using this location ever again and will be sure to stop somewhere closer to home as i head into work. the last latte i ordered from them yesterday is attached in the pictures. i hadnt drank any of it yet and you can tell its not made right just by looking at it. really insane that i was even hander this. if youre charging 6-7 a drink and your staff is so miserable theyre treating customers like trash and making drinks wrong with no care in the world, something is wrong with...
