Bad food, flat beer, & horrible service. Can you find any other way to screw up? Yes, charge too much! If there was an option of zero stars I'd give them that rating. My wife and I met there for lunch. I got there a few minutes earlier than her so I ordered a tall domestic draft and her a water with lemon. I explained that I was expecting my wife to join me. Waitress brought out 1 tablet (menu) that when my wife showed up we had to share which was difficult because they are tiny and you can only look at one section at a time. She brought my beer and it was flat, no head, no bubbles, and barely cold. I asked for another tablet when I informed her that the beer was flat. We should've got up and walked out at that point! But she only had an hour for lunch. So we continued to share the tiny tablet menu, decided, I a chicken breast sandwich her a chicken wrap. Oh and when she took our order she mentioned, "oh I forgot the other tablet". She brought a replacement beer that had a little head but that head was gone in less than 30 seconds and was still extremely flat. A little colder but not by much. As we're waiting for food two gentleman come in and sit down a few tables from us. Noticed them to see if they were given two tablets, they were. After about 20 minutes she walks by with their food! I was floored! She goes into the back in the kitchen and comes out with ours. I said to her "how did they get food before us they arrived and ordered after us?" She said "I don't know, they just came up at the same time"(yea right!). I took a bite out of the sandwich and the chicken breast was hard and chewy like jerky. I took a bite out of the other (larger) end and it was the same. Didn't eat any more, just ate the fries which were good by the way. Wife said her chicken wrap was cold, but edible. I took a bite, tasted like a cold salad in a wrap. Waitress came back and said how is everything? I told her about the food and she asked (no apology, btw) if they can make another, or something else, I said no we're pressed for time (at this point we'd been there for 50 minutes). She brought the bill out, set it on the table and said "they didn't charge you for your sandwich". I said "I would hope not, it was disgusting". Paid the bill, which I couldn't believe that they charged us for either sandwich and left. We'll never...

People of color, be aware that you will be treated poorly at Sidelines restaurant, 1430 Holland Road, Maumee,OH. Stopped in to grab a bite with two friends about 1400 hrs on 20 APR 24. After sitting about 5 mins, we got our drinks. After about a ten minute wait another family came in and got seated. Approximately five mins after that we got to order our appetizer (pickle bread-basically a thin crust cheese and pickle pizza). Took about ten minutes for it to come out, at which time we tried to order our food, but was told by the young lady that brought us our appetizer, that our server had to take/place the order. At that time I noticed that the family that came in had ordered. We waited for our server to come and take our order, while eating our appetizer. After about fifteen minutes, he was chased down (having had to get out of the seat to do so), giving a sad excuse that he was the only person working the floor. The place had two other tables needing service (one of which came in behind us), not even at quarter capacity, no excuse-more so since the young lady was serving the table that was there before us . We placed our orders and sat another twenty minutes before we decided to leave, at which time the family that came in behind us finished their meal (!). Upon leaving, stopping to pay for the appetizer and drinks, we heard the young lady say "There they are", our order still hadnt been placed. Our appetizer was comped (as it should have been for having been in the place for not quite an hour with minimal service), but that doesnt make up for the poor service. Didnt ask for the manager, as we didnt pay for our appetizer (which I am sure the manager had to okay), so there was no monetary issue. I had the same thing happen in Wadswoth,OK; Duluth,MN; Green Bay,WI; Champion,MI and other locations around the country, so I am pretty sure that my skin color was the issue. Truly sad, as my money is green. We will never patronize that place ever again, and want to pass the word for others to be made aware of the poor service. Not going to outright say racism, but will say that everyone else in the place was WAY lighter...

Let me start by saying I'm not one to normally post a negative review, however I can't just let this go unnoticed! We had a group of 60 or so with our kiddos whom had just finished up an amazing holiday performance! Everyone was in a great mood as it was wonderful to all share a meal together. It took a sharp left turn when we arrived at 9:00, waited 30 minutes on a Coke and a water with lemon, we didn't end up ordering our meals until 10:00. The manager Mike came out and asked "who called in and said there would only be 35 people" in a VERY unprofessional tone. In my mind I'm thinking we just gave you 60 more customers than you would have had in here, but whatever. (In the three 1/2 hours we were there, we never saw a wait.) My personal food came out cold and tasteless, but again it was about the company we were with so I didn't say anything. We then proceeded to wait 1 hour for our bills. When letting the manager Mike know he said "you guys came in with 60 people and rushed us" I sarcastically replied back "I mean we don't need to pay our bills if you'd like" he then threatened to call the police. Clearly we were all going to pay our bills because we sat there for a hour waiting on them. When we left the restaurant I proceeded to ask Mike who his GM was and the next time they would be in. As we were greeted on our way about by a police office, Mike says "Thank you for coming and have a good Christmas" I kindly replied "your sarcasm has been noted and clearly just for show I front of this officer. We went out to our car and saw three police cruisers. I think this manager and location should be reprimanded for the lack of professionalism and calling the police on a group that was giving him business and not complaining until the end when it just became ridiculous! I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone! The food was bad, the service was awful and the restaurant itself was not clean! (Just to note, NO ONE in our group was hostile and our arrival time was 9:00 and we didn't end up leaving until 12:30 do to their lack of figuring...
