If I could give this negative stars I would.
We had an absolutely terrible experience here. It took about 5 min at the drive thru speaker for them to get the 5 tray order we had. Made no sense why that was so difficult. Pulled up to the window and the lady had an attitude for no reason. We asked if she had changed one of our fries to onion rings (we asked to change the last order at the drive through speaker) and the manager came up telling us it’s too late because she already called it back. Whatever. We ordered it and paid for the extra even though we changed it before pulling to the window. Wasn’t worth more time wasted. The manager then came to the window with an attitude to hand us the onion rings. Put her hands on her hips and stared at us like we needed to leave. At this point we didn’t even have our food. I said about 4 times, “we don’t have our food yet”. She got fussy and walked off to find our 5 tray we ordered. She handed us 4 trays and I asked for the fifth. She yelled that we only paid for four. I said whatever okay we need to order the 5th AGAIN then to which she said we need to pull around then and order it then. I said no ma’am. . We for a fact at the drive through ordered 5 so we’re going to sit right here, pay for it, and get our food. She came back and threw it at us. At this point I started recording and she changed her attitude real quick. There was absolutely no reason for there to have been any complications to begin with, with it being 5 trays. Simple at that. Then to have attitude from the workers for zero reasons AND to beat it all, our order was still incorrect. We just left because it was absolutely pointless to deal with this level of unprofessionalism from the manager. I knew the food would have not been corrected. So. I’m highly disappointed in this whole experience and need you to know what is happening at this...
Read moreLet me start with the good: the milkshakes are definitely the star of the show. I wasn’t even a milkshake type of person until a few years ago, and now I make it a point to stop by Cook Out for those creamy, thick shakes. They’ve got flavors for every mood, and that’s what keeps us coming back.
Now… onto the not-so-sweet part.
The food is a whole different story. I don’t know who’s in charge of seasoning back there, but the salt level is outrageous. I’ve never had fries so salty I literally couldn’t eat them and that’s coming from someone who likes flavor. The burgers? Same issue. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, even contacted corporate about it. To their credit, they sent me a voucher to try again.
So I went back today since it was my daughter’s birthday. Unfortunately, it was more of the same. The food was basically a salty déjà vu. It’s to the point where I don’t even want to keep complaining to corporate because it seems like this is just how Cook Out rolls. Heavy seasoning like it’s a requirement or something. I even searched other reviews to see if I was trippin but turns out, I’m not the only one noticing it.
The food does give you a nostalgic backyard BBQ vibe, but the saltiness overpowers everything. I’m not sure if it’s the salt shakers they’re using or if the cook is just going wild back there, but it’s excessive.
Bottom line: ✔️ Yes to the milkshakes. ❌ No to the food.
This might be my last time ordering food from Cook Out, but I’ll still pull up for a good milkshake when the...
Read moreI recently visited Cook Out and had an amazing experience. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable.
One of the things that really stood out to me about Cook Out is their commitment to their Christian values. I loved seeing scripture verses on their cups, which is a testament to their dedication to their faith.
In addition to their values, the food at Cook Out is outstanding. The burgers were juicy and flavorful, and the sides were all delicious. The variety of menu options was impressive, and there's something for everyone, whether you're in the mood for a classic burger or something a little more adventurous.
The staff at Cook Out were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained. The prices were also very reasonable for the quality of the food and service.
