Whiskey Jill's — Restaurant in Memphis

I really don't even want to give this establishment 1 star but I guess it is forcing me to. I will just say that The Manager Michael Johnson is one of the rudest people I have ever came across and I will be contacting The Corporate Office of this establishment on him letting them know how he treated me last night just by asking this man a question about what one of his staff members did to a friend of mine for no reason at all. There was 10 people that seen what this staff member was allowed to do. When I immediately asked to speak to the Manager Mr. Johnson he was pulled into the men's bathroom by his employee before even introducing himself to me or allowing me to introduce myself to him and inform him of what his staff member just did to my friend. Then when I confront Mr. Johnson about that he was then very rude to me yet again and I'm not one for that as you can see. As I have read in other comments on here. They Do WATER DOWN your drinks, the staff is horrible, they are on their cellphones, their is no servers whom come around so that you can order a drink, you have to go up to the bar where you have to wait over 20 minutes to order a drink because they are yapping their mouths to their friends and not to worried about paying customers. My biggest complaint to say the least is we spent a ton of money at this so called Country Bar and I will not ever go back nor will I ever recommend anyone to go to this place ever. I will also be contacting their corporate office on Mr. Johnson ( oh I forgot also I was told by this gentlemen that i was so intoxicated that I wouldn't even remember his name in the morning which he was very wrong. I do remember) letting them know how offended I was by this manager and also asking for a refund for the money me and my husband spent as well as a refund for each and everyone of my friends that were there last night for the way we were treated at this establishment. I’ve been to Electric cowboy many times and I have never had a problem until tonight . It was my friends birthday so I treated her tonight. She went outside to grab her card and about 10 mins when she gets back inside she is asked to leave . There were about 5 security offices trying to get us to leave. I politely asked why we had to leave and he said because she came back in . How are we suppose to know that she wouldn’t of been able to come in . Don’t blame us blame your staff for letting her back in without warning . Ive had plenty of people I knew that are UNDER 21 and they drink illegally there and ALSO leave and come and go as they please . Also ive had people try to pay to get back in and they let them do so ... but when I asked I was forcefully asked to leave I’m a rude and disrespectful manner . I’ve read the other reviews and maybe it’s true it’s a “race thing” . There should be a sign that states that if under the age of 21 you will have to pay again . Sadly I will not be returning and I will tell others not to go to this...

I love this place I really do I’ve been coming here for years almost every weekend unless I’m out of town on vacation many new people come on the dance floor and come to me for help trying to learn a dance but I’ve come to hate the Dj (Jeff) he’s very old school and only plays the dances his group would like for the first 3-4 hours! I have to wait 2-3 hours for him to play any of the songs I request and it’s not just me it’s other too when he does play the songs many people request it’s after most of them leave and it’s back to back and very tiring it makes it to the point it’s not enjoyable I miss Dj Smokey and Dj Micheal and Dj Grayson they know a good balance between songs and makes it enjoyable I really don’t wanna make this a place I complain about because this is my HAPPY PLACE! Line dancing is what I love to do I look forward to doing this every weekend but if you want more people to come and regulars to stay something...
