Don’t waste your time with these people. I ordered through the website and showed up to their Edgewater location (right next to Starbucks) to my surprise, the food truck was not there. I work two blocks away and went during my break. I tried calling them MULTIPLE TIMES, no answer. Maps and google still showed old location as the current one, so I was pretty confused. At that point I just wanted to cancel my order. I emailed them, sent them DM through IG, guess what? NO ANSWER. After calling so many times I was able to get a hold of them, a lady picked up the call. I informed her my situation and asked to cancel the order since I could no longer pick up my food anymore. Mind you, this location never has the pick up orders ready since they keep their website tablet off for some reason, so I’m pretty sure that the food was never made. She said she would look into it and then HUNG UP on me. Never called me back. Tried calling them AGAIN, no answer. Never got a call from the food truck asking if I was going to pick up the food either. Unfortunately, the food truck closes before I got out of work so I could not go. Read more🦝 Today I finally got to visit Raccoon Cafe's brick-and-mortar shop! They used to have a food truck, but now they've opened a physical location right next to my house. The spot is really pleasant with a few tables, and it's conveniently located right in Midtown. I ordered an almond milk cappuccino. The coffee was flavorful and didn't taste burnt, which is always a plus. To eat, I had a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant, which was decent. However, I also ordered an almond croissant that was a bit disappointing. The filling wasn't tasty or flavorful; it seemed like a greasy, sugary paste, which fell short. Read moreI called today to place an order and the lady on the phone was so rude because I asked her to repeat my order to make sure she has it correctly, so I picked my order and drove all the way to the south where I live when I arrived, I started to unpack to eat but unfortunately my order was wrong the croissant was soggy plus I ordered salmon and it was pesto chicken wrap as I am pescatarian so I had to throw the food.
I called again the lady who placed my order she raised her voice and then hung up the phone. This is the worst experience I ever had with such restaurants/coffee shop. I totally unsatisfied customer I would never recommend it to anyone...
