Here is a thing, I live in Miami 5 years and customer service becomes worse and worse. As a white person I have noticed different treatment of me comparing to other races at the store. If you keep charging automatically service charge for to go orders in the store at least smile say hi how are you and look at the customer.
Today morning the cashier with long dark hair in a bun just confirmed that the place is racist towards white. She said hello not even lifting up her head in a hat, so not even looking at me. Then in a rude way when I wanted to sit behind the table told me to wait in the area with chairs. Ok you charge me 5% service charge not a big deal but if you don’t provide basic customer service like smile I can wait wherever I want. Also she was super welcoming towards afroamerican customers and I did spot a difference. She was looking at them and saying welcome. Once I asked her what did I pay for today in those 5%, she said we bring you your order, the person makes it for you. Since when preparing the order is covered by service charge? It’s included in a price of the order! Don’t spend your money in racist towards white places and it’s mostly 99% of Miami with Spanish speaking employees. Take your money...
Read moreI recently had a wonderful experience at Pura Vida and wanted to share my thoughts. First and foremost, the place is incredibly clean and modern. The menu is clearly labeled, listing all the ingredients, which is fantastic for those who are health-conscious. They offer a wide variety of healthy food options.
During my visit, I ordered a macchiato. I took a number, found a cozy spot, and enjoyed the warm and inviting atmosphere. Time seemed to pass quickly, and soon a waitress arrived with my coffee. However, when I took a sip, I realized it was cold.
To my pleasant surprise, the same waitress returned shortly with a fresh, hot macchiato. It was touching that she noticed the coffee might have been sitting for a bit too long and took the initiative to bring me a new one. This small gesture made my experience even better.
Overall, I believe Pura Vida is a place worth visiting and recommending. The service was excellent, the attention to detail was impressive, and the overall ambiance was delightful. Thank you for such a...
Read morePura Vida has been our go to place to hang out for healthy food. We love their coffees, pastries and healthy salads and shakes. Unfortunately, their service has been subpar. They automatically add 5% service to little to no service at all. One time, we got the rewards coffee and we waited and waited for nothing. When we followed up, we were surprised that it was not placed in the system despite giving us the number. The cashier was rude and disrespectful. Today, we gave another try as my daughter was craving for a chocolate croissant after we had some coffee and a shake. They gave us a number again, expecting they will serve it in a plate but we waited 15 minutes and no croissant came. Followed it up with the cashier and showed my receipt and he said that the cashier should have just given it to me. There goes the 5% service charge again for nothing. Hopefully, Pura vida will improve their staff as they have...
