UPDATE: NO photos were required of me, or were asked for! Ever. I follow any companies policies. I was told to come for a consult, so I did. YOUR stylist never made it to my appointment even after the hour. I’m disgusted that your apology was attached to some excuse. Such a lie and unprofessional.

I arrived on time to my appointment for a consult on what I wanted which were extensions and a color job. When I got there, the receptionist took it upon herself to give me her ‘expert’ opinion and say “ohh no the extensions won’t work for you, your hair at the back is too short”. Right, but I’ll still sit with the professional for my consult and get a second opinion. She then tells me that my stylist had left to lunch. I look at the book in front of her, my name is there with my time but stylist Jonathan went to lunch. She said he will be back in a few minutes. I sat and waited there for a FULL ENTIRE hour. No one updates me, Jonathan never arrived and I told receptionist this place is unprofessional as I gather my things to leave and she shrugs and says nothing. READ FULLY- To start off, I became a client last year and should have known better than to come back after my first experience. I had told my stylist, Jonathan that I wanted a honey brown style. I came out of there blonde. Not just blonde but the horrific almost almond yellow blonde. I asked for hair extensions and he told me that my hair looked better without even after I asked for the service twice. The real reason, he had dinner plans shortly after my appointment which he was openly stating around the salon. I ended up having to go to another salon in the Gables for them to tone my hair and add extensions. Not to mention that the service he provided was overpriced. Very professional service and incredible results! The best decision I've made in years for my hair. I was about to cancel my appointment after reading the reviews but the reality is that the bad reviews are of colorists that are not longer working at the salon or because it's pricey. If you are going to the very experts on hair coloring in a place on Brickell Avenue you cannot expect to pay what you pay in a cheap salon. I did my research and I was fully aware of the prices and I was prepared for it. I did an investment in recovering the color and the health of my hair and I am totally shocked and amaized with the results.
