ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. Was starving all day and finally got some food at this restaurant. We ordered the chicken Caesar salad and the cocktail shrimp. First of all, had to wait 30 MINUTES for a freaking Caesar Salad; I kept asking nicely and when we finally got the salad, it stunk up the whole dang table cause the chicken was OLD. The lettuce was rotting and the whole thing just looked sad; like how do you even mess up a salad? And then ANOTHER 30 MINUTES LATER and MORE REPEATED ASKING we finally got the shrimp. Was excited cause this was going to be our first seafood in Florida. Took one bite and THREW UP. They were supposed to serve the dang shrimp with a side of garlic bread and tomato soup or something since it was cocktail shrimp. THE SHRIMP WAS FREAKING COLD AND THE GARLIC BREAD WASN’T EVEN COOKED PROPERLY AND ON TOP OF IT ALL THEY SERVED IT WITH MARINARA. MARINARA. I am absolutely dissatisfied and now am traumatized from trying future restaurants. Honestly, I don’t even know why this has such a good rating; this was absolutely a waste of money and time. Trust me, McDonald’s is better. Would have gave it a zero, but can’t so I have to...
Read moreA marketplace food bistro - that's all I can say. It's located in a busy place and visited at a potentially busy time, so the service times were very long. We had to pop into Chili's opposite to grab some chips (for those in America - French Fries) to curb our hunger while we wait for the food to be served. Not many vegan options or options for someone with dietary restrictions. So I ended up having a garden salad (heritage salad - they called it). But the Vegan ice-cream with fruit wad amazing!! 4 stars absolutely for that.
Atmosphere - Not much of a contribution factor as the Bistro didn't have any space inside for a group of 5.
Service was slow, hence 3 stars. But ok for a bite during your bayside marketplace outings without burning a big hole through your purse.
Edited 15/11 to the Bistro's reply - please increase options for Vegans and dietary restrictions. The food was good and the price was too. It's just the options were less and the...
Read moreI went to this restaurant on a Tuesday morning around the time they opened up so they weren’t busy at all. I was the second person in the restaurant and I ordered two sandwiches. The total came out to 30 dollars for 2 sandwiches including sales tax and a bogus 4% service fee. I waited about 20-30 minutes for the sandwiches to come out despite being the only other person in the restaurant. The sandwiches I got looked nothing like the ones pictured in the menu and were nowhere near as big as the ones in the photo. The sandwiches did not taste bad but it was not what I was expecting based on the photos and price. On top of that the sandwiches came with some stale Tostitos tortilla chips. If you’re looking for somewhere to eat in Bayside I highly suggest you go...
