Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Millbury

I'd give a zero star if I could. Went in with my family, total of 7 4 adults 3 minors. Hostess seemed to have some attitude, restaurant wasnt full there was no line, she said 10-15 minute, asked if she wanted my name she said no if your waiting just sit. I'll know where you went and get you, the boy with her sitting was there as well. We sat and saw hoe large parties came in and got directed to seating after 30 minutes my husband asked the young girl told him oh we are waiting to clear tables sonwe can put together. Ok we waited but saw as more were being seated. Then we saw a group of 6 young kids come in, one of the young girls in that group gave the hostess a hug. 10 minutes later the young boy comes and calls them and sits them. We were sitting waiting now over an hour, got up to question the boy was oh they are a party of 6, it's the same size of table. The girl came we called for the manager. She tried to say I know we sat a few large parties before you, I'm sorry with a sarcastic attitude. I told her. No she wasnt, that's unacceptable, rude and hostess should be taught better. Turns out it was her little friends birthday and they had a bag holding the other table the whole time for...

It's been years since I ate at any of this restaraunt. Food was ok. Not a wide variety of choices on the menu, caesar salad wasn't topped with shaved cheese as I was expecting. I had JUST missed the 'half-off' appetizers. Servers should let patrons know about specials once seated though. Just saying. Not bad if you're hungry and want to sit down and eat something BUT call to check if any Deals before you go. Visited again in March 2024 and service went down, Adults drinks were ordered and not only did they take forever to arrive, I didn't taste ANY alcohol in them. Appetizers took about 35 minutes to get to the table! We were done drinking AND eating appetizers and waiting for ENTREE and the WAITRESS kept zooming pass us as if we didn't exist!! No one checked back on us and my 7 year old niece kept asking for food cuz we were ALL hungry. Waitress had a major attitude! Maybe overwhelmed? I don't know. The RACK of RIBS had barely to no sauce on it and it was tough. No one at my table enjoyed their meal.So for that, I have UPDATED my review...

Went here today with my family and the server was so sweet, however the kitchen staff messed up my order twice. I ordered a chicken bacon ranch sandwich and the first time it was sent out with some spicy sauce which I cannot do spice. I mentioned it to the server and she apologized saying that the sandwich was wrong and she said she would take it back for me and get me the correct sandwich. Again she was so sweet and I said I understood completely that accidents happen. However, my three kids and husband had their food and meals completed before I even got mine the kitchen was that slow. Again, not the servers fault because she cannot control how fast the food is coming out of the kitchen. When another server brought out my meal the second time, it was incorrect again. It was just a chicken sandwich. I didn’t mention it again because I wasn’t about to wait almost 30 minutes on a hope that my order would be correct but it’s really not that difficult to pay attention to an order. I give the server 5 stars and the kitchen one for speed...
