Proof Pizza — Restaurant in Milwaukee

Summary: Not great. Would prefer to take a chance on a new place rather than return here. My spouse and I ordered the burrata starter and the Proof Special Pizza to share. The burrata dish was supposed to come with ciabatta, but the bread that came was a super thin like carte di musica. It did not seem fresh. The tomato jam was so thin than it ran around the plate rather than being spreadable, and it was inedibley sweet. I really liked the combination of toppings on the pizza, but it was also incredibly sweet. My bigger problem is actually with the noise level. There was an extractor fan running full blast in a small, hard room plus music. If the fan has to be constantly on at that speed, then turn the music off and get some sound proofing panels added to the walls. Time for another Fat Boy Food review..... I saw Proof Pizza on tik tok and decided to give them a try. I got a pepperoni pizza, margherita pizza, and the meatballs. I tried the meatballs first and was instantly punched in the mouth with the taste of garlic. The garlic was so strong it overpowered everything. Next was the margherita pizza. Each slice had half of a cherry tomato on it. The tomato was mushy. I asked for the pizza to be left in for longer but it still came out floppy, soggy, and a bit chewy. The cheese wasn't very flavorful and you really couldn't taste the sauce. The pepperoni pizza was basically the same. You basically have to fold it in half to eat it. The costumer service was lackluster. The food was done in a timely manner. The total price came out to 47 dollars. Which is not worth it for what you get. I'd rather go to any pizza chain than...

I would love to give Proof Pizza 5 stars - because we loved the Carnivore pizza & Proof pizza - absolutely full of taste and a great mix of flavors. The reason for the 4 stars was the cheese pizza - it was underwhelming in the taste. As a pizza place, the basic cheese pizza should be good. Loved the service, cute & clean place to pick up pizza. The second time we ordered the carnivore the pizza was a bit burnt, but we ordered the last 30 minutes of the night, so I’m guessing they were busy. We’ll definitely order from here again when we don’t have our teen with us (she’s a cheese only kind of girl, so it’s off the list for her:) meatballs were decent, and good choice of drinks.
