Good morning,
I entered into the Harp around 5:45 p.m. on Sunday July 7th, 2024. I handed my I.D to the bouncer that was at the door and stood in front of the camera to take a picture for entering the establishment . Also mentioning that the Harp has a scanning system that that takes in identification and informs the bouncers about clientele.
After entering I was not informed about not being able to enter the building at all. When allowed in my friend and I went to go find my other two friends that were located in the Harp. As soon as we made it to the second lower part of the bar I order a drink for myself and my friend and bought two additional shots for my friends that were sitting in the outside area. After paying, we and headed over to my friends and chatted and had drinks and order additional food (amazing cheese curds!) and was there for about an hour and a half. Throughout that period of time the unprofessional manager (who kicked me out the last time I was there and additionally nor did any bouncers negligently informed me that I was on a do not allow list. The last physical time stamp that I have for being in the establishment was at 7:21 p.m.
As leaving the Harp I wasn't informed about being on a do not enter list. My friends and I were going to head to Water St Brewery to hang out and have additional drinks for a Sunday funday. Which was only a 1 minute walk about from the Harp.
We entered into Water St Brewery and I handed over my I.D. to the bouncer to put into the same scanning system throughout Trinity, The Harp and Water St Brewery it took a photo with the camera system and was denied access due to fighting and arguing with bar staff that happened at the Harp about two month ago.
I can testify that I didn't fight anyone nor was disrespectful the bar staff. (Check your cameras that night May 19th, 2024 around 7p.m. to 9 p.m.)
The reason I was kicked out of the Harp was for knowing one of my friends which the unprofessional manager ask how do you know him and my friend who wasn't apart of the scenario informed him that I was his friend and then I was kicked out.... still confused about that part which caused emotional distress for me to this day.
When coming back to the Harp to see why I was kicked out I was approached but the unprofessional manager who was shaking and stating, " I was all in his face" ,"That's why you were kicked out". That was false information. Again, check your cameras on May 19th, 2024 around 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
This experience of intentional infliction of emotional distress has caused me to write a bad review and I hope that something is done about the unprofessional manager who has ruined my experience of the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst I got there, parked in their quaint parking lot, and was told that I should probably move somewhere else because my truck was too big.
So after searching for nearly 15 minutes for a spot I finally get to sitting down (had to park 3 blocks away and it was a whopping 1 degree outside).
Once we opened the door, before we had a chance for our eyes to even adjust, we were bombarded by this guy asking for IDs. At 2 in the afternoon. No hello no welcome to the Harp, just I need some IDs. Not welcoming at all.
We ordered a starter of Reuben rolls which were delicious (although I've never had a bad reuben roll) with some Guinness (mine was overflowing and spilling all over the place).
Then we got our main course, I got a burger and the wife got a turkey sandwich. They were both terrible. Not one good thing about them. Very underwhelming. Not the biggest deal since I guess it's more a bar than anything, but still....
Then on our way out, not one staff member (and I'd say there were about 15 of them working at the time with no real crowd) said "bye!" Or "thank you!" Or "have a good day". Not a word from anyone. Very cold. Will never go back, just way too many superior options in the city to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI would never recommend this bar to anyone after the incident that happened last night.
First, if your bar is affiliated with the paddle taverns and after finishing the tavern need to re-enter, this should be stated prior to leaving the tavern or leaving the harp to go on it. A friend was not made aware of this policy last night until after we finished the tavern and she was excessively grabbed on the ramp leading up to the harp to be held up against the railing to be told we needed to walk around.
Secondly, as we were leaving to go home a bouncer from trinity blindsided another friend in our party after he accidentally bumped his arm coming up from the small parking lot on the side of the harp (leading to the bouncer punching my friend in the face). We didnāt understand why trinity bouncers weāre across the street at the harp and when we asked for the bouncers name and why he took such actions towards our friend, all other workers were confused and didnāt know who the guy was (but he was wearing a trinity bouncer shirt, with glasses, and had padded gloves to the...
