Hidden secret .. great place to go with on exception ..

I travel often to Milwaukee when there is snow on the ground so it was a great surprise to travel this week and find Milwaukee sunny and warm. I stayed close to the Riverwalk and thoroughly enjoyed walking around and exploring all the cool bars and restaurants. I literally has no idea this was here even though I have visited often. One minor complaint which will likely upset the smokers. There is no organization for smoking areas which means every office building empties smokers onto Riverwalk and smokers are literally everywhere. It was difficult at times to find a way to walk without walking through groups of smokers. I found a spot to sit and enjoy the day and within 10 mins was surrounded by 4 people smoking sitting on the chair around me . Clearly this is not the intent as there are no ashtrays here at all. The Milwaukee riverwalk is a totally new adventure than what it was like 10 years ago. Delicious dining options, entertainment venues featuring not only national acts, but entertainers from all over the world come to Milwaukee to perform at the Riverside, historic Turner Hall, the Fiaerv Forum and soon to be another option on the river in the deer district. And of course you can't forget the dozens of nightclubs, sports bars, brewery's, distillers, speak easy, cigar bars and everything else under the sun all within a short walk from the river. Very nice and educative walk.

The part of the trail is made of wooden planks but they’re not normal. They’re educative and they’re inscribed with the world history of each month of every year those dating back to 18th century.

One will also witness the ship and boat traffic along its way. Also, the opening and closing of the overhead bridges for the cruise ships.

Plenty of benches and tables for resting, viewing and picnicking.
