Graffiti Pizza Destin — Restaurant in Miramar Beach

Very disappointed in our experience here. Ordered two pizzas, one cheese and one of their specialties. After seeing some of the tables receive their orders before us yet arriving after us I decided to ask what the status of our order was. One of the ladies looks at the screen and sees that our order was over 50 minutes passed since we’ve ordered. She asks another one of the servers and tells me that she will look into it. A few minutes later she comes back to tell me that one of the specialty pizzas has burnt and had to remake while offering a quick apology. A few minutes later she brings one of our cheese pizzas to our table. I’m assuming this was our pizza but sat in the kitchen waiting for the other pizza to finish before delivering together because it came out luke warm at best. Not sure why a luke warm pizza would get delivered to a table that had already waited about 55 minutes for pizza but kids and everyone were starving so we ate it anyways. Pizza was nothing special but hard to judge since it was not hot. We were told that it would be an additional 4 minutes for our other pizza to get done but I think it was an additional 10 minutes for the second pizza to get made and delivered to our table. Once delivered it was again delivered with a quick apology, which I feel like was out of routine and never really to make the guest happy and try to salvage the diners experience. I never asked for any comps or free anything and was not expecting such. All I wanted was hot food and service to address the issues and prioritize our order since we were waiting there the longest. During my recent visit to Graffiti Pizza in Destin, I had high expectations given the local buzz and loved the Art, but unfortunately, my experience was a bit of a letdown.

First off, the pizza itself was decent, though not exceptional. The large pie was generously sized, which is always a plus, but the flavor didn’t quite meet the mark for traditional Italian-style pizza. The crust was okay, but it lacked the light, airy texture you'd expect from authentic pizza, and it seemed more on the heavy side. As for the sauce, it didn’t taste homemade. It had a canned or pre-made vibe to it, which was disappointing. Overall, while the pizza was filling, it wasn’t memorable or worth a return trip.

Next up, the Italian Grinder. I had high hopes for this sandwich, but it missed the mark. The bread was particularly off-putting it tasted like toasted stale bread, which ruined the overall experience. A sandwich like this should have soft, fresh bread that complements the filling, but instead, it felt like it was just thrown together without much attention to detail and was dry. Great place, cool vibe, and I’m obsessed with their pizza!! My boyfriend and I were lucky to be invited to the “soft opening” by Rachel Dunn, who is awesome! -Their NY style is amazing! Slightly crispy crust on the bottom so it can handle the toppings and doesn’t get all floppy. Not super greasy either. Their crust is freshly made and not frozen and it is soooo good! Garlic cheesy bread was fluffy, buttery, and perfectly baked, served with WARM marinara (I hate it cold) Their Buffalo Chicken Pizza was great! Quality ingredients in everything. Loved the cheese on it!! (Goat/ricotta chunks? Idk but it’s delicious). We also split the 10” gluten free Secret Spot pizza, and I love their gluten free crust! It wasn’t chewy or weird at all, PLUS they put toppings evenly all the way to the edge. We honestly could have just split this with side salads and had enough food, which brings me too… Great, fresh salads with crisp greens and vegetables and loved the Caesar dressing!
