Almost every morning they get my order wrong. At first I let it go and eat it. After a few times I started asking them to fix the order. They were not very friendly about it nor did they apologize even though it's a regular occurence. Today was the last straw as this is now happening almost everytime. I had walked all the way to the water to eat and realized they had completely messed up my order. I asked for honey mustard and they put hummus all over my bagel instead. I checked with the owner before paying and she gave me the honey mustard on the side. Which when I opened it I realized she had given me a side of BUTTER. Butter and honey mustard dont even sound or look similar so I'm just confused. When I went all the way back, they did not apologize and seemed annoyed with me. Then informed me that they don't have any honey mustard available. I asked for a refund bc if I would have known that I would have ordered something completely different. I also was just done with the situation and wanted my money back since I couldn't make up for all the time I wasted this morning. And to top it all off the bagels themselves are not always fresh.
I'm from NY and this place needs some competition bc honestly I would never go back if there was another bagel spot available in the area.
Truly missing my NY Deli's and Bagel Shops right now....
Read moreThis spot was pretty average. My boyfriend and I stopped by for breakfast, and while it wasn’t terrible, it definitely didn’t meet our expectations. I ordered a bagel with honey butter spread, assuming it would be honey butter cream cheese—but that was my mistake for not clarifying. The bagel was decent, but not what I had in mind, so I was a bit disappointed.
The chocolate croissant, however, was a real letdown. It wasn’t flaky at all—just soggy, likely from being heated in the microwave. The chocolate was overly sweet, and we couldn’t even finish it because it was so unappetizing. Honestly, Starbucks does a much better job with croissants.
My boyfriend had the ham & cheese croissant, which he said was just okay. Unfortunately, it was also soggy.
We paid around $18 for three below-par pastries, which felt steep for the quality we got. That said, I should’ve expected higher prices given the area, but it was disappointing nonetheless.
The staff were fine in terms of efficiency—they got the job done—but there were no smiles or warmth to their service. I also wish they’d asked more clarifying questions, especially since the menu descriptions weren’t very detailed.
Overall, not a place I’d go out of my way to...
Read moreEveryone was friendly enough so I gave a 5 star for service but here are my thoughts on the bagels and the food we got. Bagels are ok, they are a little hard on the bottom. I also think for a bagel with cream cheese they are a little pricey and the prices on the board don’t match the prices when I got rung up. I was originally going to get a bacon, egg and cheese but then I looked around and saw they only have microwaves. I am not paying for microwaved food so I didn’t get it. Everyone raves about the cold sandwiches so maybe that’s the way to go but their bagels are mediocre at best. I also read that they are a local chain which means they are making enough money to open another basic bagel shop. I would recommend investing in a grill. That might change things...
