Auntie Anne's — Restaurant in Morristown

My sister and I went to the mall and met up with her daughter and grandchildren to go to Auntie Anne's and get pretzels. While there trying to figure out what we wanted we noticed there was only one young boy working at 8:00pm on Oct 15th. We watched him wait on the customer that was there before us and saw him take off his visor and run his hand though his hair I guess to wipe sweat away and then used his hand to open the pretzel bag, he then used tongs got the pretzel and placed it in the bag, took the guys money and to my horror went back to working the pizza dough WITHOUT WASHING HIS HANDS. He then waited on two more customers that paid in cash and still didn't wash. I couldn't take it anymore so I went to the counter after all customers were gone and asked him about Auntie Anne's hand washing policy. He stated that there wasn't one but when he got a chance he would wash his hands. I stated that he should wash after every customer, he told me no and if I had a problem that I should take it up with his manager. Needless to say we didn't eat and will never go back there again. I did e-mail auntie anne and told them about this but haven't heard back so maybe it is their policy not to wash hands. My next complaint about this will be to the Health Department. The managers and people working are very unprofessional. I had coupons to use from a previous mishap with a mobile order that was not done at the designated time that it was supposed to be picked up then I had to wait 15 minutes extra to get that product I filled out a review Got coupons in the mail to use for the inconvenience of last visit. Tried to use the coupon today and the manager rudely denied it and said they didn’t take it said what do you mean you don’t take it it has your name on it and it came from your company , she said we don’t take it go on I said excuse me your company sent these for the mishap that happened last time I said, but that’s fine. I guess I can fill out another bad review she then continued to threaten me in front of multiple customers. Very unprofessional and if she can do that to one person how many others is she doing it to you can’t refuse service to a customer that is a paying customer that your company has sent things to because they were mistreated the last time they got something from them , auntie Anne’s really needs to do better at hiring more professional people that actually know how to interact with the public and handle escalated issues today I give them a zero . The food is really good but the service is awful. The employees weren't unfriendly, but they werent very knowledgable either. We ordered a number 2, mini pretzel dogs with a drink and dipping sauce. It was supposed to be $ 7.36 plus tax. The final price was $ 10.56. The picture on th menu clearly shows a dipping sauce included with the meal but we were charged an additional .60. We got strawberry lemonade for our drink and were charged an additional dollar for the strawberry flavoring. We waited 25 minutes on our order to get ready. We have experienced long waits at this location a number of times. If the the resturant wasnt right outside of the movie theater, we wouldn't go back. If you dont mind waiting half an hour for a pretzel and you dont care to be charged random upcharges then we highly reccomend this resturant.
