King Kong Milktea & Smoothie Morrow — Restaurant in Morrow

This store does not even deserve 1 star. I placed an order Monday night around 8pm. I spent $80 worth of food and drinks, soon as I got home and noticed my order was incomplete, I am missing 1 food item. I tried to call couple times even though I know they close at 9pm. I came back today Friday, and told them what happened. They said they can't do anything about it because it's past 24 hours. So I explained that I lived all the way in Newnan, 45 miles away. I'm working everyday so I didn't get a chance to come back the soonest. I explained that today I had a doctor's appointment at Kaiser near the store so I decide to stop by. But they stated that they can't do anything and they can't give me a refund because it's past 24 hours. So I asked for a manager, but manager in the back if the store did not even show up or at least try to talk to me. He just stayed in the backroom and said No. I said, I don't need a refund, but at least just give me the food that I paid for. All of them went to the back room and never showed up again and never talked to me while I waited for more than an hour, so I just left with nothing and I felt like I was robbed, I paid them and give them tips, spent $80 on this business, and they don't want to give me what i paid for. I called the Franchise owner Allen Nguyen, he stated he will call the store and will give me a callback, but never did. I'm still hoping they will make this right but nevertheless. No one ever tried...

My go-to place is Quicklys for a small bite/lunch but they were closed the day I wanted to go so my sister and I decided to give this place a try.

We ordered a viet coffee frappe, matcha milk tea, lemon pepper popcorn chicken, takoyaki, and Cajun fries.

I want to say I only loved two items out of all the things we got. I loved the viet coffee frappe and the lemon pepper popcorn chicken. I think they’re giving Quicklys a run for their money with the popcorn chicken - it was so good! It came with a spicy mayo sauce that was perfect together. The viet coffee frappe was good too - definitely got the boost I needed.

Now, for the other items we weren’t too crazy about. Not that it was bad but just nothing special. The matcha milk tea could’ve used more matcha. It was watered down according to my sister. The takoyaki tasted like maybe they got it from a frozen section of a grocery store. Finally the fries were only okay, not much Cajun seasoning on it.

The price is definitely on the higher side compared to Quicklys. I remember the popcorn chicken was a little over $9

This is my 3 to time here and I have had another bad experience. The 1st time I went I had a large order because I was ordering for multiple people at my job. I called ahead and when I arrived the food was still not all done; we ended up with cold food and missing items. The pictures are misleading because the food doesn’t look as appetizing in person as it does on the flyer. Also I had to wait to be greeted and get the cashiers attention, That was 8 weeks ago. Today I tried it and the tiger sugar drink she made me was okay it was just really thick to drink. The shrimp egg rolls were over cooked and the customer service today was subpar. To top it off as I was eating I saw a roach crawl across the table and chairs. It proceeded to the floor. I threw my stuff away and no one was in the lobby I politely got the attention of staff and asked for a water to drink in a cup. She proceeded to charge me for a bottle water. I continued to show her the video of the roach and then said never mind for the water and left.
